Absolutley the case I think, including UK (can't mention US without including UK - remember what Snowden says - UK collects EVERYTHING). I'm regularly given 'msgs'/references to eg. tv, to say I've no rights and everyone wants me dead (the number of 'death' msgs recently is very high); I don't believe for one moment that the majority of intel employees would sit and watch with delight, a person under a magnifying glass, burning to death - that's the 'cutting edge'/influence technicians, who're psychopaths and knuckledraggers - a breed apart.
