The minion got very ugly with threats of hangin me from a tree, and wrote more threats involving his strange preoccupation with death and children.

Wow DJ. Which "minion" posted that? Sounds like it was intended to get that thread locked. What a bunch of ill- intentioned people. This forum calls itself "Re-Open the Kennedy Case" but spend a bit of time there to see what they are actually doing to accomplishing this alleged goal. I have never seen a forum on this case that has an entire sub forum devoted to bashing and name calling-vile in many instances- members of other forums. Makes you wonder what their agenda really is.
Great stuff DJ and Jim. And the new stuff JA is working on will put to bed-finally-the bus issue. Onward.

It was in a PM. As for which one... there are only a few who post on Ed Forum.... You can probably figure it out.
The thing with the CAP photo is as deceitful as our old friend Lamson used to be with his bogus photographic examples and LNer nonsense.
Anyway... I'm very thankful I can post here without worry of that kind of witless attack. Nice to have a few watching our backs out here...
So a big thanks to the Mods for keeping this place civil

I've moved all the Harvey and Lee posts over to the Harvey and Lee thread here:

All the EF stuff is still here.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx
"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.
“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

To wrap this thread up, several of the personal stories about that other online forum are really memorable. For example, Peter Lemkin's tale of all those thousands of deleted posts is simply devastating, especially for those who know how significant and thoughtful Peter's articles often are.
I'd like again to reiterate that arguments and even protracted feuds between various members of ostensibly "open" fourms are hardly unusual, and probably (and sadly) to be expected. What is truly untenable, though, is the situation that results when the administrators of such a forum--those with the ability to censor individual members and specific posts--clearly choose sides. Even more alarming is when these same individuals eliminate a post about the prime suspect(s) in this case because they find it "unsavoury." It is pretty clear to me where the people running that forum stand.
Thanks once more to Magda for making an exception to forum policy, thus allowing the EF administrators' censorship to be shown and preserved here.
Stuff that is hopefully far more interesting is coming right up: A new write-up by John Armstrong examining the evidence that Oswald left the TSBD via a Nash Rambler station wagon versus the evidence for the bus and taxi ride. This story strikes me as a microcosm of this whole, sordid case.
