ISIS takes credit in downing Russian airliner

Question: What is a "foreign" explosive?

Comment: Even though Russia seems kinda vague about their intended targets, they will intensify their bombing.

PS: Also, Egypt has detained somewhere between 2 and 7 employees from the originating airport in connection with Egypt's investigation.

Yes I wondered what that meant too. Can only assume it is either some sort of new explosive not made by Russia. Semtex itself has to have additives to create a detection taggant to identify it. There are still batches of (expired) Semtex which don't have this tagging which would make identifying the explosive difficult. Then again it may be a completely new type of explosive.

Would love to know what's in the CCTV footage from the airport.

There is an agreement [don't know if by treaty] that major explosive manufacturers need to put certain trace chemical labels in their products that allows for a determination that it was their product used in any explosion. This would be so if you purchased an explosive for ordinary purposes or you were an ordinary [non-state] buyer - even if your purpose was not ordinary [terror action et al.]. However, many of the top makers of explosives [especially the very 'sexy' ones] also produce unlabeled explosive for use by intelligence and military operations - so they can not be traced - but this is not admitted to - in fact denied. Add to that, it is possible to create batches of explosive that have the trace chemical 'labels' of a different company than the one that created it [i.e. create a false-flag batch of explosive]...so it is a very tricky game trying to either identify; or trust the word of officials who say they have identified exactly which explosive and manufactured where. Lastly, they can also just lie about what they found. With modern mass spectrographic techniques, a lot can be learned about the place and even date of manufacture of an explosive, but one needs to keep in mind the above caveats. One might presume there also might be a black market in unlabeled explosives - but they, if they exist, would go for a premium price, indeed.

While I'm on this subject, remember that even the nanothermite that was found in the dust of the WTC could be found to be closest in formulation to some that was tested earlier, manufactured for the US Military.....but you don't find that in the NYT. [or even that explosive residues by the ton were found] ::zzzzz::

Yes, there is an international treaty. But even before that manufacturers would often put in tagging identifiers. But there is plenty of old stock with out and if the manufacturers are doing their own thing with secret batches it does make it quite a tricky exercise to work out who made what.

Which translates as there being officially sanctioned unofficial explosives and therefore explosions and bombs, I think.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

From Col. Cassad on the alleged bomb that brought down the Russian airliner (computer translation):

[B]The bomb explosion which led to the destruction of the A321 on the Sinai Peninsula, was founded under the passenger seat in the cabin liner.

This narrows the list of suspects who could smuggle a bomb on board
According to the newspaper [B]"Kommersant", the experts of the FSB found a hole in the skin of the fuselage, which could be formed as a result of an explosive like TNT or plastic explosives. Find out what kind of substance was laid down in the bomb, it has not yet succeeded. The device is extremely difficult to set the bomb, because it is necessary to examine a vast territory. The answer to this question can only was involved in the terrorist attack.
A source said that the [B]epicenter of the explosion was not in the luggage compartment, as previously thought, and in the interior of the liner, closer to the tail. It is assumed that the bomb was located under the passenger seat next to the window. As a result, its response was a sharp pressure drop, which people on board probably died instantly.
By the experts, the bomb aboard the plane would bring someone from the personnel staff Sharm el-Sheikh. For example, interior cleaners or workers delivered food and luggage. The bomb apparently was clockwork, although in the case of flight delay timer can work in an airplane without passengers still on the tarmac. Google_editors_pic = true ks - zinc PS.Their involvement in terrorist acts did not pull too much, and put pictures of the explosive device, which they claimed was destroyed by an Airbus A321 over the Sinai. They the bomb was disguised as a bank "Schweppes" and contained in plastids, and she got on board through a hole in airport security in Sharm Al-Sheikh. In principle, it looks quite plausible, given the fact that the schools with the system security of the Egyptian airports have begun to emerge even before it was officially recognized that there was a terrorist attack. It is worth noting that militants associated with the Caliphate also visited the crash site and even picked up there for a few passports of the victims as well as boasted on the published photos. Obviously during these voyages to the crash site, and recently there have been clashes with the Egyptian army in the area of the death of the ship, where the militants have lost more men killed.
