The Criterion Collection released these classic examples of cinema verite, with their usual load of supplements. Quite valuable as both history and art. Two main subjects are the Wisconsin primary and the Wallace vs Kennedy confrontation at Alabama

Love those Criterion Collection DVDs. Expensive, though. If I was rich I'd buy them all.

Criterion is the gold standard in contemporary DVD packaging.
The supplements on the Drew cinema verite films is highlighted by a joint interview with Eric Holder and his wife Sharon, who is the sister of the girl who the Kennedys got in the standoff with over admittance to Alabama with Wallace. A very interesting interview which informs us of a lot of things that went on before, after and during the Wallace confrontation.
Well worth purchasing.
