Sanders' cynicism is oceanic & his fealty to core components of the CIA agenda simply appalling.

Oops.

And we must not forget that Bernie succumbed to pressure from Hilary's camp and told his supporters to vote for her. That stain is never going to leave him, I'm afraid.

I think Bernie knew what his roll was and what it was not. We were supposed to think that The Bern had moved Hillary to the left and that it was now safe to vote for her.

Even if he succeeded, which he didn't, she was still electorate poison, some on policy some on sexism. Every one except the DNC could see through that ruse. And were all sick of being taken for granted and weren't buying it.

Like the stain of Trump on those who voiced their support for him?

Lot of folks with stains on them around the block, eh?

Do your dreams feature Trump too, Cliff?

You must be a terribly, but terribly, boring host at a dinner party...

"Madame & M'iseurs, for an aperitif tonight I put a small squeeze of Trump in a large measure of iced Gin... hope you do mind. And hors d'oeuvres this evening is Cromer crab with Trump risotto and the entree is a 28 day aged loin of Trump with gratin dauphinois and wilted Trump - and for pudding, we have Trump essence creme caramel...

Hello... anyone there? Oh dear, they've all left. Was it the menu?"
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

I once caught crabs in Cromer.

Entirely understandable, given the salubrious nature of the "resting" establishments in that part of Norfolk.

For catching crabs I recommend Walberswick - where a world competition is held every year. I've caught them several times there. The fact is that Suffolk has an altogether superior class of resident most of whom hail from Bayswater, Battersea and Belgravia. But it seems one needs to own a Maserati as your second round-around-cum-beach car if you wish to gain a permit to reside there.

As opposed to the Podesta salads and Clinton pizzas you always serve at your pad?

Now you're just being ridiculous.

Podesta and Clinton ingredients are SO no longer in vogue. The days of Fricassee of Roasted Libyan Baby served with Varnelized Turnip Head, followed by Syrian Bombe dusted with a coating of Turkish Sarin rounded off with coffee laced with caramel flavoured Dominionist Proto-Autocracy petit fours are long gone. Thankfully.

A chef of my haircut serving such gauche and unhealthy food is simply not done anymore.

I deep fry all that stuff.

I'm an American, after all.

Bullshit alert!

Trump et al have been lying about their Russian connections at high volume -- they act guilty.

They act like they're trying to cover up something.

Trump's attraction to Russia is non-ideological -- it's strictly business, Sonny.

Money laundering is a crime -- and may Trump die in jail.

Bless you and all those who sail in you Cliff. You never fail to deliver as expected. ::laughingdog::

Really, David, what was so amusing? If you'd read all of the articles I posted in the other thread, you'd see that Trump and associates have been involved with dirty money from the former Soviet states for many years.

The only thing this 'adult' doesn't believe in is magic underpants and only because the Mormons have the market on that piece of insanity. Fundamentalist Catholics/Christians have their own well pack bags of delusional thinking, anti intellectualism, magical thinking, bigotry, dogmatism, irrationality. Pence is a fully paid up card carrying Christian fascist on a mission from his own self created invisible vengeful sky pilot. He is so far away from being an adult it is terrifying and in a whole other league from the tangerine cockwomble flim flam man on the make.

I think Cliff is saying that Pence is our "normal" level of Republican crazy that we are quite experienced with in America going back to the late 1970s. As opposed to Trump, who really stopped developing emotionally at the age of 13 or 14.
