All,
Functionality was just added to allow you to upload MP3s as an attachment type in a post. Please let us know if you have any problem with this. Thank you.

That's what it is for but the vBulletin system itself seems to have trouble with larger files of any type. There is an upgrade in the works and that may (or may not) resolve this annoying issue. But go ahead and do it by all means.
