The Most Interesting Man in the World
#1
[Image: philandjon.jpg]

Does Phil Dragoo remind anyone of our own DPF version of "The Most Interesting Man in the World," from the Dos Equis commercial?

Yes? Here's what I've recently uncovered:

- James Angleton was spooked by him.

- Kris Kardashian claims to those in her innermost circle he is the father of at least two of her children.

- On a June night in Bangkok in 2009, over an early dinner, he accused David Carradine of "playing it safe."

- He calls Dick Cheney once a month to see if he's up for some duck hunting.

- In a seance, held somewhere in the east on a Halloween night, he channeled the spirit of Helena Blavatsky and told her she had "some nice little theories."

- He sent Donald Rumsfeld a candy gram upon his retirement from public service, advising him to "get some fiber" in his diet.

- Suggested to execs at the Lifetime Network that Emilio Estevez and Ellen DeGeneres play Nelson and David Rockefeller in a proposed bio-pic.

- Ran into Neil Young in a Toronto airport and scolded the Rock icon. "Richard Nixon did not have soul."

- Favorite saying: "That little Dulles..."

Whenever Jonathan Goldsmith decides to hang 'em up, I think Dos Equis has their man.

*This post was made with great admiration and affection for the contributions Phil makes on this forum. In awe, actually.

I don't always agree with every post on the forum. But when I do it is with Stan's post about Phil Dragoo.

Love you both! Cheers
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

Stan, this is one thing I know for a fact.

--He wrote the third secret of Fatima.

edit: this should tell you who listens to him for those in the know. Confusedhock:

"We will lead every revolution against us." --Theodore Herzl

I lost that bet also.It cost me a very cold jump into the creek.

As for Phil,

I still hear his one word "Stella"( in Brando's voice) burst into my thought from a couple months ago. That's powerfull stuff.

For the inimitable, frame-busting, fence-jumping Mr. Dragoo:

So I wait in line, I'm a modern man
And the people behind me, they can't understand

So I wait my turn, I'm a modern man
And the people behind me, they can't understand
Makes me feel like, something don't feel right

Like a record that's skipping
I'm a modern man
And the clock keeps ticking
I'm a modern man

In my dream I was almost there
And they pulled me aside and said you're going nowhere
I know we are the chosen few
But we waste it
And that's why we're still waiting

In line for a number but you don't understand
Like a modern man

I had a dream I was dreaming
And I feel I'm losing the feeling
Makes me feel like
Something don't feel right
I erase the number of the modern man
Going to break the mirror of the modern man

I know we are the chosen few
But we waste it
And that's why we're still waiting

In line for a number but you don't understand, like a modern man
If it's alright then how come you can't sleep at night?

We are the chosen few
But we waste it
And that's why we're still waiting

I'm a modern man
