If you could add a president to MOUNT RUSHMORE, which one of these would you pick?

Excellent. Too late to vote?

Go look at the numbers too. (The above link didn't work for me. Dunno why. The poll results are at: http://www.vanityfair.com/magazine/2010/...rentPage=2. And the related article is at: http://www.vanityfair.com/magazine/2010/...rentPage=1.)

President Kennedy won by a large margin: 29%. Compare that to the next highest vote getter: Reagan (benefiting from non-stop propaganda polishing his image) at 20%, and FDR (a worthy contender) at $18%.

More good news. Look at the age ranges who voted. Younger people voted for JFK more than older people. That's in spite of decades of reputation assassination to tarnish his image and obscure the motive for his murder.

By contrast, younger people were less likely to vote for Reagan.

I know this is not the most scientific poll in the world, but it's interesting. Great find Bernice. Thank you for this New Year's treat.

Oh, and LBJ got 0%. :p That's actually more than he deserves.
