Carlist Catholics, ManCand, anti-Communism, Fascism and The Assassination of JFK
#11
It has long been clear to me that John B's sole purpose on this forum is to insult other researchers. And now to tangle with Charlie Drago, for whom he is not a match. I want to be on record as stating that he has crossed the line several times with insults. I do not know what he is trying to prove. Mr Jefferies (sp) may in fact write science fiction in addition to his work on the assassination of JFK, but JB's clear implication is that DJ's work on the case IS "science fiction". Now he is sugesting the same of Charles Drago, who has been in fact referred to as "the conscience of the critical community.

For those of us who have studied this case in depth I can think of no-one who takes the rantings of JB seriously. Indeed my good friend Carl Oglesby does not even know who he IS, yet JB continues to throw around that name as one of his "admirers" . Back when we all posted at the other forum this sort of spam was the norm. How many more insluts will this guy make before he is stopped? And, for the record, this will also be my last word on this subject.

Tired of the name calling,
Dawn

I think you could do very well at it and you should widen your focus just a bit to include areas other than the JFK assassination. You have a natural talent for science fiction IMHO. But don't quit your day job just yet. Exactly what are your current hypotheses regarding the ultimate perps, their sponsors and the financial beneficiaries in the JFK hit? Spock is all ears.

That aside, and after careful reading of the above post, I am prepared to abandon my own long-held hypotheses regarding the sponsors of the murder of JFK.

I am now convinced:

It was a boating accident.

Actually Mr. Jeffries is a rather well known author of science fiction books for the elementary and junior high school age groups. I am surprised you have not heard of him or read some of his works. He is also a moderator on The Spartacus JFK Forum, in fact, where he makes regular postings related to the JFK Assassination conundrum which are almost always intermingled with strong doses of science fiction, his favorite genre. And his co-moderators all reviewed this posting in its entirely and decided, by a majority vote, that it should be published due to its relevance, appropriateness and its accuracy. His was the only dissenting vote. Mr. Jeffries has since returned to his specialty, science fiction, and has decided to defer for the moment, at least, further postings on JFK forums which blend fact and fiction in almost equal doses. I was alerted to these comments by another member of this forum. John B. has stretched the truth here, to put it kindly.

First, I'm not sure I'm "rather well known," although I appreciate John's attempt to exaggerate my influence. Maybe he'd like to become my publicist. I have had one novel published, a sci-fi/fantasy entitled "The Unreals." It has numerous references to the JFK assassination and other political events throughout. My second, yet to be published novel, will probably be categorized as women's fiction with a supernatural twist. I don't know that any of my posts at the Education Forum have had any "doses of science fiction" within them.

I am a moderator at the Education Forum, but the rest of John's post is pure fantasy. There was never any vote on this posting by him, with my vote being the only dissenting one. He made this up entirely, which says a lot about his overall credibility.

Every post John B. writes revolves around his theories that right wing extremists were behind the assassination of JFK. When he started mentioning people like G.L.K. Smith and Willis Carto, I replied that these were people who were on the outskirts of society in 1963. Carto was the founder of Liberty Lobby, which published a pretty fine little newspaper called The Spotlight for a few decades, until the ADL forced them into bankruptcy. They weren't perfect, but before the internet, The Spotlight was about the only weekly source we had for alternative news. As for Smith, he was once a top aide to Huey Long, my political hero. Yes, he drifted into racism in later years, but he was pretty old by 1963 and certainly had no friends in high places at that point.

John B. tries to steer attention away from the CIA, the Pentagon, Hoover and the FBI and the "performance" of the Secret Service. Many of the people he names as top conspirators behind the assassination are totally unfamiliar to me, and I'm pretty well versed on extremist politics. He's entitled to his views, but frankly I think they're absurd. He isn't entitled to lie about others on internet forums.

Thank you for alerting me to these posts, and allowing me the chance to respond to them. Now, back to my science fiction....

Thank you, Don, for checking in to confirm what most of us have known for some time.

I for one hope you'll consider posting here, where the welcome always will be warm.

For as you know, "tension, apprehension, and dissension have begun."
