Why for the love of God are people urging Peter to SUE anyone? He had posting privileges at a forum. He got into an arugment with people there. He was told to back off or he would lose his posting privileges. Yes PRIVILEGES. None of us have any "right" to post there. I have had my differences over the years with the Ed. Forum. I became very tired of the Colby's and other lone nuts who seemed to glory in running the McAdams scam. So I left.

What cause is being served in this forum by keeping up the Peter vs. Andy drama day after day? Those who are urging that Peter engage in some legal means are doing this chap no favors, imho.

Nor is this sort of thing beneficial to our forum. All this is occurring is allowing Peter to continue in some sort of victimhood when what he needs to be doing is getting on with his LIFE.

None of us KNOW what was said in private emails. I daresay we all have ones we might be embarrased to later see in print.

But I guess certain parties won't be truly happy until all the JFK assassination forums have collapsed under the strain of infighting.

However some of us are interested in the latest research. Breakthroughs in the cases. Jesse Ventura is on some television station or radio station every day talking about the book he has done with Dick Russell. People ARE becoming more educated.

Meanwhile this place is turning into a soap opera. And that is very sad.

The basic question for every justifiable cause of action is "what are your damages?" That is the bottom line. How can one articulate the harm- if any done? And sadly such harm is meansured in monetary terms. So it must be asked: Has Peter lost his job over this? (Just one example) . And has he done anything to mitigage any damages? I admit I know almost nothing of libel law beyond a class over twenty five years ago. But just basic legal principles tell me that Peter lacks a cause of action. And by assisting in dragging out this matter whatever libel he feels he has suffered he is aggrivating by daring yet more people to come forth with claims. Gossip does not equal a cause of action.

To what end, ultimately? People need to ask themselves: Are they really helping Peter or simply engaging in verbal bloodsport?

British libel law is rich man's law.

It exists to enable the rich and powerful, be they individuals or multinational corporations, to sue and bankrupt anyone who dares to expose their misdeeds.

It does not serve the poor.

It does not serve the truth.

Even if there was a libel barrister willing to work on a "no win, no fees" basis, Peter's prospective damages are almost certainly not large enough to entice an ambulance chasing lawyer to take the case.

More broadly, I have absolutely no interest in forum wars. They are a diversion and distraction away from important research.

Certain people at the EF abused me, and then put me on moderation over a technicality (no avatar photo) which is currently being breached by one of their very own moderators.

The EF became a home for disruption, abuse, idiocy and anti-research.

It's not worthy of serious contemplation or the expenditure of one's precious time.

I and others left to create a home for serious research, fairly moderated.

Fuck the EF. Life is much better without 'em.

Now, I'm more sure than ever that 'Dunn' over there is either a stooge for, or more likely IS AWs other avatar, when not wanting to post under his own name. Some recent info [mixed in with AW-like invective and disinfo] was only know to AW. Further, I still this this fictive 'Dunn' is to be a slight on the real Dunne. Another disturbing thing to note is some cached EF files on Google are disappearing and shouldn't be. CG told me she erased all of her exchanges with me, so can't even present them if she wanted, if that is true. Anyway, I hold every one of the 150 [about 75 each way]. Brazil posits the most evil possible construct - nice email exchange - then - ta da! suddenly a predatory attack. Boy, would the last few exchanges take the wind out of his sails! He also posits that her answer to my request to her was made under duress, when he doesn't know it was not [as my exchange with her could prove - as would all earlier communications she had with me and with one other female. Mod ST is now apparently vetting ALL posts on the thread to make sure I don't get a word in edgewise nor any real support for me. He is further sending me emails to upset and taunt. He is also the one who posted that 'we [I assume here speaking as the EF spokesman] believe in a few conspiracies, but NOT ALL conspiracies!' - only backing-up my view there was an approved list and a disapproved list. It is interesting to note he works for one of the largest aerospace defense contractors in the UK - position unknown. It seems he has been appointed to keep all supportive posts there from anyone off the/any thread. Freedom of thought and speech in action - not! Magda has had her rights there suspended for an 'objectionable' avatar photo - but ST mod has one that is quite 'questionable', as well - as do many others. I heard about this on FaceBook. I am sorry for what happened to you. It seems you have been vidicated and are owed an apology or a retraction (which will not happen I assume). The good thing is they disrupted themselves as much as you, since the nature of the situation has resulted in less posts and has damaged them, their forum and their credibility in terms of "fairness". I hope all your 5000+ posts are recovered. I expect there may be a pro bono barrister who may take this on for you - if you look. You have a record of this defamation and deserve compensation. Even Tim Gratz who had a fight with JS and was booted-off there for threating on forum to sue [and was once a lawyer - then debarred] didn't have all of his many posts removed. Again, I am now 99% sure Dunn = Walker and it is an added secret jab at his co-admistrator's favorite poster and friend Dunne. I have sent to two persons the original supposedly 'offending email' plus the exchange that followed just after. They can comment on them, as they like, if they like. I just feel it not proper to post the originals. I feel so damaged by the loss of the posts not being available to the many who look there and will in the future, or to be able to access for myself. Ironically, the attack on the EF called Distorting History, about which I help defend the EF, was completely wrong in its attack, but the title now fits, sadly, in another 2 ways. Please, I do NOT want to be a member there any longer, with such unfair and cruel administrators - I only ask my posts be put back up! and/or send to me on DVD To not distort history! Apparently now in true style, any post in support of me is being made invisible. Stalin would have loved it. I'm sure Walker does - as he planned-out this whole thing and sadly [IMO] the other administrator went along and then put his stamp of approval on it. Again, the original 'problem' is now proven false, as I always said; no charges have EVER been presented for all the actions that followed. They were simply abuse of power by Walker. I'd react in righteous anger and try to speak/explain/reason while muzzled by Walker and he'd escalate the punishment and silencing. Then came the thundering pronouncement making official all of the false non-allegations and non-events - based on my reactions - not any original actions! Distorting history and distorting truth, reason, fairness, due-process, openness, free-speech. Very sad.

Lastly, my REactions to untrue accusations [mostly not even hinted at, never announced nor me allowed to defend against] were used as the excuse for prior ACTIONS by Walker. Walker resigned - an admission of wrongdoing - yet was asked to return to play executioner. He said he'd be leaving and never left; a grand show and set-up to remove me. Fine, so you play dirty there, but don't distort history; don't deny those who choose to visit your site and future viewers to see what was discussed by me, and is our mutual history/heritage of JFK assassination, and more. I still feel sorrow at the gross injustice done to me there, but can live with that; HOWEVER, the destruction of my intellectual and political sweat equity there is a step too far! I have again requested of JS that they be re-instated so as to not distort history. Alternatively, they be sent to me on DVD and I'll post those that are stand-alone [not discussions with others] on a blog. Have you no decency or sense of history? You claim to care about the JFK assassination the research into it. I knew and interacted with so many of the witnesses, players and researchers. It is nothing short of a crime against history to remove all that - justifying it with a laundry list of 'crimes' never committed - the 'crimes' were instead all done against me. It is now openly admitted there that they censor thought and defense of charges. Colby is allowed to further bad-mouth me, but any posting in my defense or trying to post anything I send [or even voice their own personal feelings about what happen if in so doing defend me against what was done] have been for the last few days been deleted and now....threatened with what was done to me. This from John Simkin Gulag today:
"While I own this forum he will never be allowed to be a member of this forum. Nor will other members be allowed to post on his behalf. If that happens again, the member concerned will be placed on permanent moderation."

Mr. Simkin says I went 'too far'. I ask what was too far?
-defending myself against false and trumped-up charges - in fact a Walker planned set-up you later endorsed post facto?
-wondering and angered at being put on permanent moderation without explanation or cause [Walker even resigned over this - an implicit admission of wrongdoing]?
-being then banned and IP blocked without doing anything further?
-trying to clear my name while others were and still are allowed to further defame me. Turner brags how he deletes messages in support of me, yet allows those against.
-starting a thread here, when my voice was cut-off and blocked [without charges or ability to defend myself] - I assume you would just have preferred I commit hari-kiri or just allow the injustice to continue without means of defense.

I have to agree with Dawn here. It's pretty clear that Peter did nothing wrong in his email exchanges with Cigdem, but it's just as clear that he is not going to be invited back to the Education Forum. It may be possible for him to get his old posts back, and some of us are encouraging that to happen. Hopefully it will.

Peter is obviously going through a very rough time, and I think we all should urge him to do what he can to find peace of mind. That won't happen if he continues to dwell on something that only will make him angrier and feel even worse. It's easy for me to give advice, since I'm not in his shoes, but I can only suggest that he try to find something to take his mind off of all this.

I'm happy to be a member of this forum, but I will not be leaving the Education Forum. I value that place as well, and they need more radical voices right now.

Again, Dawn's advice is sound, and I completely agree with her.
