The center of attention

PS Jack: Anyone who pushes the "Mafia did it" nonsense is either someone who has never studied this case of an outright disinfo agent.
(I think Peter or Judyth is neither.)

Dawn,

Thanks for the clarification. I am sure that Judyth appreciates it as much as I. I now have a copy of HARVEY & LEE, which arrived a few days ago. The thesis of two young men living parallel lives from birth has always struck me as very improbable, especially since a false documentary record is something in which the agency specializes. I regard it as important to have a sense of the alternatives as to what may be going on here before plunging into the deep end of this voluminous collection of documents and records, where the crucial question becomes of their authenticity--not as pieces of paper, for example, but for the truth of their contents. Of course, Judyth is defensive about these attacks and I have risen to her defense. But, in my view, it has had the effect of vetting her story all over again, where some of the information that has been acquired--including the posts from my psy ops expert--would never have come forward without this kind of process. So even if it's all "cut and dry" to you, it has never been to me; and I have become enormously impressed by Judyth's knowledge and skill in research and the presentation of evidence. So even if it didn't matter to you--and don't take this the wrong way!--it did matter to me and has turned me into an ardent and dedicated supporter of Judyth. So if you look at this from a less ego-centric point of view--in relation to your own personal point of view!--then perhaps the whole process has been worth it, after all. I have certainly learned a great deal about Judyth and about Lee and even about the forum and how it functions, where those benefits, at least, are going to be enduring. So take a deep breathe and let's see how all of this plays out.

Now just why woud someone have a need to do this? Ego? Pathos?

Or something more sinister? Why would an alleged witness or researcher spend so much time keeping the focus on themselves?

This is to me indicative of, at the very least, a sense of self-centeredness that has zero to do with advancing us toward resolution of this major event in our sordid history.

Getting other researchers squabbling over minor details is such an old worn out trick you'd think that no one would fall for it any longer. Alas...it still works like a charm.

Meanwhile....Obama is seeing to it that more intel secrecy occurs...anyone noticing? But then it's not as important as someone's bruised ego, after all.

I could not agree with you more. A lot of ink has been spilled about Judyth Vary Baker on this board. I have seen the same thing happen on another
board that had the same result, an impassioned debate that divided researchers, and led to an endless exchange of posts that did not convince anybody of anything.

Baker's new book, which is supposed to be her authentic story, should be released sometime soon. Should board members reserve judgment on her story until her new book is released?

John: I think that is the only truly fair thing to do. Many people have attacked Judyth over the years and then when I learn who the attacker is I find THAT suspect. Not going to get into name calling here, but they tend to run with the McMadman crew and we all know what that means.

I think one of Jim's posts has hit on exactly why she is a target- her cancer research, both potential cures for and that it's been injected now for decades. (Jack Ruby being one obvious example) I fully intend to obtain her book. I was very impressed with Ed Haslam's presentatin this past year at COPA, which he devoted to Judtyth and proof of her story. I got Ed's book also but it's on my to do reading list.

now THAT sheds a bit of light on the 'Judyth' subject.

Me too, I will read her book when it becomes available, and decide then whether or not I accept her story. I have read Haslam's book, it has some interesting material in it. I hope that he follows up with another one sometime in the future.

This also struck me as highly significant too, David
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
