I remember being told by someone who knew Al-Fayed that he originally bought the place with money from Qatar (if memory serves anyway). He was supposed to have been an intermediary on their behalf - fronting for them, but once he bought it he reneged on the deal he had with them and kept it.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort.
