forget about this article like....
Frank Sturgis was murdered? Wow! That’s news to me. I looked it up:

“In an obituary published December 5, 1993, the New York Times quoted Sturgis' lawyer, Ellis Rubin, as saying that Sturgis died of cancer a week after he was admitted to a veterans hospital in Miami, five days shy of his 69th birthday. It was reported that doctors diagnosed lung cancer that had spread to his kidneys, and that he was survived by a wife, Jan, and a daughter.”

And if Sturgis was one of the tramps, I am an uncle. Frank had a jaw line and chin that were unmistakable. Perhaps side-on he looked somewhat like the tall tramp, but not from in front.

Dorothy Hunt is missing from the page The Death of Dorothy Hunt.

The retired history professor has both Sturgis and Harrelson in the Flying Tramponettis.

I'll take Lansdale coups for two hundred, Alex.

Oh, and anthropologist Gary Mack--who looks just like the guy behind the counter at Dunkel Donuts.

I've got Saint John Hunt's ebook. And I have Lane's Plausible Denial. Hunt was not doing the Chinese grocery circuit in D.C.

The author has transposed two words in the first sentence of the third paragraph and should go back to work to provide clarity and sourcing.

J. Giles Band sings First I Look At the Purse, while Lisa Pease looks at the notes. Perhaps the endnotes source the murder of Frank Sturgis.

Ya that jumped out at me too B. "Murdered". LIkely was. And I have always believed the Hunt look alike to BE Hunt. I have looked at the other pics but since the mid 70's I have maintained it is Hunt.
The author is in error re Lansdale. Prouty id'd Lansdale as the man with his back turned to the camera, not one of the three tramps. I admit Holt bears a strong resemblance as well and the book that introduces Holt and Charles Rogers is very compelling. (The Man on the Grassy Knoll by John R Craig and Philip A Rogers).

On December 9, 1972, just one day after the crash, Nixon White House aid Egil Krogh
was appointed by Nixon as Undersecretary of Transportation, supervising the NTSB and
FAA, the two agencies investigating the crash. Also on Dec. 9, White House Deputy
Assistant to Nixon, Alex Butterfield, was appointed the new head of the FAA. Five
weeks after the crash another of Nixon's men Dwight Chapin, became a top executive at
United Airlines. Am I to believe that all these facts are just mere random coincidences?

Hi dawn, there was is no implication sturgis was murdered he died of a cancer, that does happen quite often, seems of late cancer is mentioned the conclusion jumps forward if they may be connected in anyway, yes they were given needles and given cancer etc, sometimes i figure i guess but not every, looks like hunt in the inner field also in one of the photos taken after by Cancellare that one convinced me, more so that the tramps photos.Lansdale yes cia, up to his ears, and the night before the assn was in the hotel with the jfk entourage instead of visiting his son as he said, in another city, the receipt found made him .liar liar pants on fire, it came around again.....and yes the book ''the man ' is a very good read...oh and phil did uncle dunkel find dorothy yet....i will post the hunt crop from the photo, dawn....bp.s adding the full cancellare 4 i believe, he is on the left, compare and see what you think all.....b

Sherman Skolnick was the first to make this a big deal, in 73...then Carl Oglesby In The Yankee and Cowboy war: Conspiracies from Dallas to Watergate. Many others have written about this murder.
John Simkin was scanning Carl's out of print book at EF a few years back. I recall he got up to chapter four. Sure wish someone would finish that project.

I always wondered what St. John thought of his mother's 12/8/72 plane crash. And dates...yes, recurring dates, another "coincidence": John Lennon would be murdered 12/8/80.

"All we are saying is give peace a chance." Lennon and Yoko...
MLK - same message, JFK, RFK, etc. When will we make people understand this? When will there be justice? (These are not rhetorical questions.)
