Well, as he likely ordered or knew about and kept silent on the murder by aircrash of Dorothy Hunt, killing a newsman wouldn't be out of his immoral landscape....in fact there are MANY bodies IMO that directly or indirectly were ordered made dead by 'ol Tricky Dick. He's right up there [really down there!] with LBJ, RayGun, GHW, and W as some of our worst Presidents and criminals - if there is any distinction between the terms......certainly not since Dallas.
