United States will insure its ships in the Black Sea

US President George Bush has signed an order to “avoid
the risks of trading losses and damages related to
possible military actions in the Black Sea”, Akhali
Taoba reports.

The US Minister of Transport is thus authorized to
insure US commercial ships with special Government
funds.

“The Minister of Transport is responsible for
informing all ship owners and management organizations
operating under the US flag of this decision,” the
document signed by the US President says.

There are no reasons elucidated in the document as to
why the US President has ordered US trading ships in
the Black Sea to be insured against military risks.

Quote: Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that the country reserved the right to forbid vessels of the Russian Black Sea Navy to return to their base in Ukraine’s Sevastopol.

If the US aids (or is planning to aid?) the Ukraine in hindering Russian naval access to Sevastopol then I can see things getting a mite difficult...
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Hmmm....Hey David, know any underwriters who'd let us [just you and me, mateCool] take out insurance on the Planet, should it be destroyed [humans that is]? We could make a 'killing'...but will be (admittedly) hard to collect on the policy....!

Magda, your tags are as good at the posts!...own goal!
