I agree. The double Oswalds Baker theory is pretty tight.

Jim - while I agree with you assessment of the CIA as opposed to the other POV you presented. As I have found in my research, the CIA and the Military were much closer than the CIA and the President.

I get the impression os seeing LeMay in the corner either nodding or declining the requests of the president as Dulles sees him in the corner of his eye.

Dulles is listening to JFK yet needs that nod to proceed... or the nod to keep snowing the man in teh chair about what is really happening.... which is why I feel JFK went ahead and made the Joint Chiefs expressly responsible for CIA related activity.

Just my take on the CIA and their purpose...

It was a researcher, I think, named Cliff Varnell who posted here or on the swamp a timeline about the military statements concerning Oswald on 11/22, and military brass was declaring the investigation essentially complete nearly, or as quickly, as Hoover and the Boys. That's the best evidence I've seen for military involvement, other than the circumstantial stuff developed so well by Douglass, Jim Di and others. A whole lot of people are suspicious of LeMay, I know, but I just wish there was some better evidence.

The Agency sure looks guilty, and the fact that Kennedy was handing over much of the Agency's responsibilities to JCS just makes them look more guilty--without even considering Mexico City and the Oswald Intelligence Project, or Joannides!

Yeah, but some of them say Craig and the others nailed it with the Nash Rambler escape, and the FBI/WC invented the bus and taxi scenario because a getaway car screamed conspiracy. Which equals one Oswald. That opinion--Big Surprise--has gotten a lot of play at the Swamp.

BUT--There sure as hell are a lot of witnesses--maybe a dozen or so on the record--for the bus and cab. The thing to watch on the afternoon of 11/22 are the shirt colors of the Oswalds. The damned jacket complicates the sightings, but imho you can kind of sort out the two Oswalds by the shirts: Russian-speaking Harvey Oswald in the infamous brown shirt (if he changed anything at the boarding house I think it was his undershirt) and American-born Lee in the white T-shirt under, part of the time at least, the light grey jacket. A lot of the eyewitness reports--though by no means all of them--begin to make a little more sense under that lens.

I think it was Frazier who said he saw Oswald cross Elm and Houston and head in that direction. Also, wasn't Tippit parked at the gas station waiting for the bus?


Maybe the Commission pressed the bus story in order to cover up a clear witnessing of two Oswald's they couldn't control. Remember what happened to Craig.

The FBI seized the Stripling records the day after the assassination. It's obvious they did that because they had known in advance that Robert Oswald had spoken, in 1959, of Lee attending Stripling for the fall 1954 semester. So they were out ahead of the game when they needed to clean-up the record for two Oswalds.



Upon learning this many years ago it was clear to me that the FBI know a long time in advance of the two individuals. Otherwise how would they even know THAT quickly about this school, and actually obtain these records 11/23? And yes Jim great top 10 list!!
This is not a case of faulty memory. But those with an agenda to continue to argue against the totality of this evidence will continue to do so.

Dawn - Yeah, the FBI seized not only the Stripling records, but also the records from all of Oswald's pre-Marine service employers, you know, the ones the Social Security Admin won't vouch for--or include in "Oswald's" lifetime earnings report--even though we have those bogus W-2s that were "found" while the FBI secretly held Harvey's "belongings" in DC before secretly returning them to Dallas before publicly sending them back to DC. What a fricken' scam!!! And it's just too difficult for our Big Media to figure out.

Albert-- Good point about Tippit. His placement at the Gloco Station, and his behavior afterward, is additional evidence that one Oswald was surely expected to arrive there on the bus.
