Jackie on the assassination, per Caroline.

Yesterday Erick picked up a scandal sheet for me as the cover story was on Jackie O and what Caroline will cover in her book. Jackie thought LHO was a patsy. BUT Caroline is not going into just who Jackie REALLY thought who killed her husband. Keeping it to J Edna. Which is a start but, I think is foolish and dangerous for Caroline. She is in essence covering for the killers. I do not know how much Jack confided in his wife or how much Jackie knew about the power structures who were angry with JFK, beyond the FBI. I think two things are significant: Jackie did not want these tapes revealed until 2039, because of her fear that the assassins would come after her and her kids. And the question of the release now.

Well I just went back and looked at the article and realized it says she will NOT reveal who Jackie thought who did it. The FBI. Curious.

So I have no clue what will be in the book. IF there will be bombshells.

IF Caroline is revealing what her mother believed- ie that the WC was the load of crap we know it to be then one has to wonder why she is revealing against her mother's wishes. My belief is that she knows they killed her brother and this is her attempt to protect herself and the rest of her family.

Peter: I represent children and parents in abuse and neglect cases, as well as juveniles and adults charged with crimes. I know zero about wills, having been out of law school a very long time. But she is the only immediate heir to Jackie so I don't see how anyone else can successfully contest. I do not know if she is the executor but it would stand to reason that she would be.

And why would the family protest? After JFK jr being blown out of the sky I would think the family is more than tired of the coverup. I have often wondered if Caroline was not threatened when she was considerening her own political run.

Well, I can only hope no one does stop it and it does all come out. Most of us know that A. Onassis paid millions for his own private investigation, and it likely came up with much of what we now know today....if not all the details. Besides, from what Jackie saw at the moment of the shots and in the hospital IMMEDIATELY informed her that the 'official version' was pure cover-up fiction. So, she knew a lot and likely got to know more and more from RFK and then Onassis.

.... Good Day Dawn .... I did not write that the change was specifically made in 1994.... The codicil about waiting 50 years, or, until after her last child passed on (whichever happened last) for her statements to be publicized was in her will (that is still available online) when in 1994 Mrs. Kennedy passed on.

.... For further reading, can you please share your specific reference(s) for your claim of JFK JR. "being blown out of the sky" ?

I have often wondered if Caroline was not threatened when she was considerening her own political run.

.... Certainly not an impossibility, but, from what I/we have seen several times, imho, Caroline's skills lie elsewhere and she was, simply, obviously, inept ever even trying to be a representative politician.
