"He was from the East, campaigning in the Midwest, rich, catholic, too young and his own party was against him. I thought, 'What a wonderful story this will be.'"Kennedy agreed and the rest is history. The five-day shoot became "Primary," which is considered the world's first direct cinema documentary and one of the most celebrated documentaries of all time.

Although much of the footage has been seen before, this new, tightly edited documentary was composed from Drew's personal archives to provide a timely look at Kennedy.

Producer Ann Drew previews the film as being the story of the Bay of Pigs, the rise of the Berlin Wall, and the desegregation showdown with Governor George Wallace.

"A President to Remember: In the Company of John F. Kennedy," which celebrates the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's presidential inauguration,

JFK was certainly in a class by himself when it came to be President, as I never liked the Kennedys as a family, and only tolerated Bobby because the best in him had only rubbed off from Jack.

One only has the read the tapes on the Cuban Missile Crisis to see that he was the only American fit to handle the problem or we would have had a nuclear war.

And it was only because of the plotters who assassinated him screwing up the shooting that we still didn't have one.

And Crazy Ronnie almost pulled it off still when he, North et al. tried to end the Cold War with a non-nuclear showdown at Palme's expense - what didn't work because of spying by the Soviets, the countermeasures that Moscow took in anticipation of the Stockholm surprise, and the scapegoat, Stig Bergling, not fleeing to the USSR when he could.

If it required Jack to have sex every morning with whatever woman was willing, amen.
