Thanks for linking this Ron. It was indeed interesting. But I have one slight bitch about it and that regards the misrepresentation of Jung in the piece. But that has long been part of conspiracy literature so I’m not particularly surprised by it anymore.
For example, Jung didn’t work in Berlin up to 1942. He couldn’t as he was on an SS liquidation list. The misundertanding arises from the fact that he was the President of the Berlin headquartered General Medical Council for Psychotherapy but that was a professional position held for many years prior to WWII - as he had many Jungian Analysts in Germany who’s safety he increasingly feared for. It is laughable to say he was a mysoginist. On the contrary he very much enjoyed the company of ladies, and they him (the so called Jungfrau).
I also have never read anything by him that was in any way negative about the Jewish race (and I have read and own his Collected Works and probably another 50-60 books on Jungian psychology besides). Indeed, the man he nominated to take over from him after his retirement, Erich Neumann, was Jewish. Sadly Neumann died early and so Marie-Louise von Franz became the flame-bearer.
Jung’s association with Dulles is correct. Dulles visited him a number of times when he (Dulles) was stationed as head of OSS in Berne during the war (and Jung wrote one letter to Dulles in 1945 on the subject of Allied propaganda). Jung was greatly concerned with the ease in which the German Collective psyche leapt into, rather than fell into, the Hitler pit. His essay on Schickelgruber (Hitler) remains a classic on the dangers of the Shadow.
Sorry for rant. I am a fan as you can see and have read this nonsense for years. It’s time to put the record straight in regard to the Nazis.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge. Carl Jung - Aion (1951). As an aside Richard Condon references Harry Anslinger by name in The Manchurian Candidate and Martin Lee talks about Anslinger's role in MK/ULTRA on the first page of his manuscript along with Wm. J. Donovan, OSJ, OSS, CIA.
This officially turns Harry J. Anslinger into yet another member of what is now Condon's Baker's Dozen. It is just scary how Condon figured out who were JFKs strongest adversaries with murderous and mutinous intent exactly 50 years ago this year. FIFTY YEARS AGO Condon knew who was going to kill JFK and he cited 10 of them who were either close friends with members of SKOM, or SMOM members themselves.
Just amazing, Richard Condon. Nice work.

Is this Jung the psychologist or Harry Augustus Jung from the USA who owned the Jung Hotel in New Orleans where the secret meeting of 100+ far rightists occurred the week before the JFK hit? Jung started the American Vigilant Intelligence Organization about 1927. Check him out.

However, I am looking forward to more (much more :eating: please) about this other Jung with the hotel in New Orleans. All I could find at hand referencing him was an interesting German article on the anti-Comintern http://translate.google.com/translate?hl...hw-23.html. He is listed as 'Young' in the article. This is all new to me and sounds most intriguing. Is there a guest list of the 100 plus attending?

I can find some material on him in Russ Bellants book: Old Nazis, the New Right and the Republican Party from South End Press but not much. Will post it later this weekend. Try the Mary Ferrell site under either The Third Decade or the Fourth Decade Journals for an article by Dr. Jerry Rose from Fredonia State College on this meeting with totally unknown attendees. A Louisiana State Policeman confirmed the attendance of an unnamed Southern Senator and perhaps Leander Perez, the political boss of Plaquemines Parish but that was just about it for confirmed attendees. Try either Spartacus or alt.conspiracy.jfk too with the same keywords search.
If you can not find the article on MaryFerrell.org I will try for you later. Search for Jung Hotel, Leander Perez, then Jerry Rose. Jerry gave me my start in the article business with my piece called "The Miami Connections to the JFK Assassination" under my pen name at the time Michael Kensington in the Third Decade. It might also be on the Ferrell site. Mary called my piece on The Manchurian Candidate as Rosetta Stones into the JFK hit and the Draper-Vonsiatsky links one of the best documents on the case she ever read. She read it consecutively for 6 about hours, even missing a chance to sleep. God bless her. I really wanted the job of Ferrell web developer but some of my many opponents in the research bastidges group voted me down and out.
Hey you might be in luck. That German translation is from The Great Conspiracy Against Russia, one of my favorite all time texts. Did you see that the German article called Vonsiatsky something like Wonsiatski as well?
Here is the full text of The Great Conspiracy Against Russia... for free.

Anything by Albert Kahn and Michael Sayers on the web is right on the money and usually mentions Vonsiatsky and Company. Usually from the 1940's and the 1950's though. I think I will Keyword Index this entire shunpiking site.

David, can you point me to this Jung essay on Herr Schickelguber?....Danke!

Before this gets too far out there, hijacked in a sense, let me return to my point.
When I read Acid Dreams, I kicked myself for believing Leary and his BS story about Meyer. So then I went back and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. So I searched for all his books I could find between when he said he met Meyer, and when he mentioned it in Flashbacks. He had over twenty opportunities to write about it in over twenty years.
He did not. That clinched it for me.
THen reading about his associations with Billy Hitchcock and the Eastern Establishment that was so closely related to the CIA, and the Bowart interview, I decided that Leary was a CIA asset involved in spreading the message of pyschedelic drugs in the late sixties. He was the outside guy and Ronald Stark was the inside guy. Lee and Shlain do a very nice job at the end of Acid Dreams in the sub chapter called The Great LSD Conspiracy (p. 276) in summing up who Stark really was. Very much suggests a high level deep cover agent.
After I finished the book, like I said, I felt like a dupe. And then when I learned that the other guy spreading the Meyer/JFK drugs in the WH story was Angleton, well, just how much evidence do you need?

I agree that Leary was freelancing or otherwise for the Company but as for Mary Meyer not being mentioned in his other books well, his other books were not auto-biographical but philosophical and political. So I'm not so sure about that not actually being true.
