Exactly. It wasn't until I studied Lancer, DiEugenio, and Deep Politics that I understood that 'JFK' was subtly loaded with a lot more than I first realized.

The Mr X scene is dramatic in itself and the core of exposition. The scene then intensifies in meaning the more you study the Assassination.

All true ... as far as it goes.

But in the final analysis, JFK gives us Facilitators and Mechanics only.

"What of the Sponsors?" he asks rhetorically.

If an individual, through either his own volition or events over which he had no control, found himself taking up residence in a country undefined by flags or physical borders, he could be assured of one immediate and abiding consequence: He was on his own, and solitude and loneliness would probably be his companions unto the grave.

You can't blame the innocent, they are always guiltless.  All you can do is control them or eliminate them.  Innocence is a kind of insanity.

Answering his own allegedly rhetorical question, he notes, "The Package gets us closer to Sponsors by delineating the supra-national origins of the plot ... but not close enough."

Charles, we bought this and found it very useful. The U.S. military of Seven Days in May and Executive Action have their counterparts on the other side of the Iron Curtain--and lo it came to pass that eleven months after Dallas Leonid Brezhnev forced Nikita Sergeyevitch Khrushchev to give way "being old."

My first Kindle gift is an intro by Oliver Stone followed by revelations of disturbing nature by L. Fletcher Prouty.

A medium, no, two media (CDs and Kindles), not dreamed of a half century ago.

Can interest be rekindled for a James Douglass-based revisit to all the old familiar places.

No statue of limitations, and the relevance?

How did it come to this?

It came through Dealey Plaza.

Stone encountered flak--from those he thought friendlies.

Witness the mania of Chris Matthews attacking "conspiracy theorists"--

Chris, imagine the impact if Obama got up tomorrow morning and said we're leaving Afghanistan--

Why doesn't Chris--why doesn't Tom Hanks--ask why not?
