My New Favorite JFK Assassination Joke
#1
Q: What did Lee Harvey Oswald say to Michael Jordan?

A: Out the book-depository window, over the sign, through the governor,
nothing but neck...

For our international laugh-seekers: One must be familiar with the basketball court game of "Horse," in which two shooters challenge each other by describing the most complex and difficult shots and daring each other to make them, in order to get this one.

CD, you are lovably irrepressible. You remind me of the fellow who stood in the locker room with his peers just before the first Annual NBA All-Star three-point contest and said "Now, which of you fellows will be coming in second?"

Yes, thank you for this
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

For the international readers (and perhaps even those beyond the Hudson or the Saco rivers), here is some background on the above compliment:

The winner of that contest, seen @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvzIPnfSaDI, was athletically more than his body, upbringing, or even talents, and was the epitome of confidence in the clutch. He enters the arena with an assuredness that seems to be cocky if not arrogant but he is capable, time and again, of backing up his attitude.

"Larry Bird was not a perfect physical specimen but, before and after practices and games, he worked alone. He had a consistent pattern: one day focused on foul shots and shots from the left side of the court; on another day, he concentrate on off-balance fallaway jumpers and 3 point shots. Over and overwith consistent intensity." [ http://summonthemagic.blogspot.com/2011_...chive.html ]

"Why is Larry Bird considered to open a great athlete? James Worthy said he'd rather guard Michael Jordan than Larry Bird because when you're up against Bird, you have to play the game as a thinker."
ESPN. Wilt Chamberlain called Bird "the consummate pro". Despite not having the physical attributes of other NBA players, "Bird does everything better. The brain, when it is used in the right way, is also a talent." Peter May, Boston Globe, 10/4/98.

No I think the idea Phil Nelson has solved the case with JVB is the best JFK joke I have heard for a long time.
