Since the Ventura show was screened the identity of Ron has raised a bit of controversy.
Though CTKA gave Ventura's venture a pass mark (by the slimmest of margins). One of the show's costliest and most silly
mistakes was the appearance of Ron on the bridge. Ron disseminated a bunch of garbage top secret CIA documents. Which weren't even
CIA files but facsimilies concerning what looked to be HSCA transcripts which were widely available. The fact that Ventura had no problems with their being redacted
says a lot about how dumb this segment of the show was.
These documents supposedly showed that Nixon and the CIA eliminated Kennedy. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! While I do actually believe Mr Fetzer that it is not him.
Indeed, the evidence I have been given from Len (if not Fetzer this information is bad enough for Ventura's show credibility). Is that it was actually the shows Producer Doug Bruckner's next door neighbour.
As for the documents This is something of a quandry for Fetzer, as can be seen in my reply to CD here on topic 13. In fairness to Mr Fetzer some of these queries concerning the show may well now be inaccurate.

At the end of the day, people all over the JFK nexus believed him to be more than capable of endorsing or pulling this stunt himself. Indeed LN and conspiracy advocates have found a common voice with regards to this. As can be seen at McRaes website. I hasten to add by the way that Duncan Donuts started the poll independant of myself. I was told about it by Frankie Vegas if I recall. Hence why Fetzer has been nicknamed Ron. His chaotic and inaccurate outline of the plot is as delusional as Bruckners neigbor.

Just how much input did JF actually have on the show. In this regard it's very, very hard to tell. He say's he was just involved with the shooting sequence (which he cocked up by telling Ventura the official version was 6.3 seconds). For the time being one should leave it at that. Because one of the things I didn't do in my original review, was discuss with Len Osanic what the make up of the show was. This was an oversight-apparently, the shooting schedule was totally chaotic. While Ventura was shooting JFK, the next day if he was up North he'd be going to interview someone else for another show. Same thing if he was down south. This really shows how much of a shoe string the show was on. It is also interesting how in this era of dumbed down TV, that network docos aren't concerned about research but soundbites. In that regard. While I still have some very large misgivings about the show and no sympathy, I do have a better understanding of what went on. Ventura had little or no real power, thus it certainly makes me appreciate the stuff Ventura got right.
The Colorado Street Bridge
Right then, out of interest I've confirmed the location of the 'Ron' overpass. It's the famed Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena. Which just so happens to be in Jim Fetzers hometown. For the time being once again that info could well be circumstantial. It's actually a wonderful spot to shot from. As you can see with the hills and trees in the background it would have been quite beautiful on a clear day. Yet with those cool lights, a straight interview with someone here would have been cool and sinister. Why oh why they did run astounds.
Anyhow lets take a look at the pics that confirm it.
Ventura's shooting location was the third to last set of lights going off of the Bridge running North.
1) The First picture is one of the opening shots of the Ventura/JFK show facing to the NNW. If facing due North it is of course on the left hand side of the Road. The Ventura Freeway can vaguely be seen in the background.
2) This is the shot of the location just prior to Ventura Meeting Ron looking due N on the left hand side of road.
3) The highlighted/red is the location of where these dudes were filming looking at them due S.
4) The Lights as seen during daytime on Google Earth. Looking from NNW
5) The last two pics are facing NNW but the 5th is shot from Ventura's spot under the lights on the lefthand side of the road as opposed to right in the first pic. The Google Earth Image is in the middle of road. Note the trees and building seen in Ventura show match up almost perfectly with Google Earth image.
In all I'd actually like to visit the place. It's a very, very cool bridge!!!!!!
