Mohamed Atta and other accused 9/11 conspirators visited the Sarasota, Fla. home of Esam Ghazzawi, a Saudi adviser to the nephew of King Fahd. Murdoch's New York Post: "FBI agents investigating the connection in 2002 found that visitor logs for the gated community and photos of license tags matched vehicles driven by the hijackers. Just two weeks before the 9/11 attacks, the Saudi luxury home was abandoned. Three cars, including a new Chrysler PT Cruiser, were left in the driveway. Inside, opulent furniture was untouched."
Democrat Bob Graham, former Florida senator and chairman of the Select Intelligence Committee, has asked the FBI for the Sarasota case files but the bureau won't dislodge a single page, not even one that's heavily blacked-out.
Neo-Truther Graham denounces the "coverup": "You can't have 19 people living in the United States for, in some cases, almost two years, taking flight lessons and other preparations, without someone paying for it. But I think it goes much broader than that. The agencies from CIA and FBI have suppressed that information so American people don't have the facts" …

9-11 is, at best, a very complex conspiracy. Yes, it seems the Saudi's paid for it...but perhaps they did so as a cut-out for others [it was not their idea - or not alone]. There is, at minimum, Israeli and UK foreknowledge - perhaps more...and Israel and the Saudis are very, VERY strange bedfellows! The stand-down and all the plethora of wargames mimicking the actual events of 9-11 and/or removing assets needed that day and/or confusing radar operators [both military and civilian] as to whether they were watching fake 'blips' or real ones...and the massive cover-up and non-investigation were all home-grown parts of the conspiracy [American]. Add to that the ISI in Pakistan paying some huge money to Atta and his pals.....plus some drug running and US military training, as well as FBI babysitting of some of the 'hijackers' and one has quite an international cabal. Who thought it up, who paid for it, who covered it up, who carried it out begin to take shape, but I'm sure many puzzle pieces are missing still. One thing is for sure - the official version is pure unadulterated bullshit!:: [I greatly simplified the plot....left out the owner of the WTC, the destruction of the accounting part of the Pentagon, the insider trading and MANY other factors]. It was truly a super-sized intel op!....and magic trick. It may well have even secretly nullified the US Constitution - but if it has, that too is top-secret.

All that said, the Saudi role was large and has been totally erased and as with the 18 pages on Saudi funding, expunged from 'history'.
My guess is we'll see JFK's brain before we see those 18 pages...i.e. never for both!::

Yes, I agree. Ditto the Israel-Saudi nexus.

The Pentagon must've had a finger in this pie too, imo. Then the whole ultra right bringing in a police state was one aim of it, too, plus the military industrial complex going for the never ending war scenario. Would Bush and other neocons use the Saudi's as a painted face to achieve these and other aims? You bet.

I think it is clear, that whatever the Depth of the Saudi role [certainly there was MUCH], it was no surprise to many in the US Govt. - more particularly the Deep or Secret Structures. The Bush family had both family and business [as well as political] ties that bind to Saudi Arabia [one small example being Bandar 'Bush' as a regular at the 'Ranch']. The US Govt. had all of those connections minus the 'family' ties. Everyone who was aware of the alleged 'hijackers' [patsies all] BEFORE the attack have been silenced or have kept it....those that haven't have been fired, killed, or ordered under great penalty to keep their mouths shut forever. The flightS of bin Ladens and other Saudis out of the USA when no one other than the military could fly shows some kind of 'special' relationship or 'deal'. It seems S. A. funds and trains OUR 'terrorists'.....and then gets oil money and weapons systems as thanks....quite a cozy relationship....and a vile, illegal/immoral one, on a host of accounts. This little charade can't be missed by the governments and intelligence agencies of most governments, but I've not heard a peep from any who claim to be 'friends' of America or Saudi Arabia. Israel and the UK must know the full story of 911 - but keep quiet about their roles and everyone else's. Lovely world we live in. ::bowtie::
