Sean Murphy's research deserves more
It doesn't make sense that if Sean Murphy had the key to the whole assassination in his hand that he would just abandon it and walk away. That doesn't fit the human psychology profile of a person who had the case-cracking solution to the assassination. A person who really believed he had the answer would stick to it to the end and see it through responsibly in order to live up to the significance of the discovery. He would stand up against the trolls and naysayers with what he knew was the truth and not take anything else as an answer.

Don't look at what someone says, look at what they do.
