There are many combinations and permutations that could be what is actually going on behind the shadow boxing diorama we get to see. Whatever the variant(s), I can only hope that one side makes the move of releasing some real information in an attempt to harm the other. Only if both sides are playing the same game with the same script will this not help the investigation. The nature of the 'leaked information' and the timing are strange, given that both sides have hidden the truth under the carpet for so long. Yes, it could be another scapegoat or modified limited hangout. I personally think S.A. WAS deeply involved, but NOT the prime mover. If [big IF] it is a minor spat between two intelligence communities usually in quite good lockstep, then there may be some good to be had when one tattles on the the other.
