This looks like (maybe) a trend of "The Empire Strikes Back" against the increasingly serious information about Skorzeny (and also Skorzeny/JFK) information.
How does Wikipedia handle these things? It isn't clear to me from the information provided how Wikipedia does these things.
I can't say I've every seen a similar scenario.

This topic has been discussed here [and elsewhere] many times. Wikipedia is OK for NON_CONTROVERSIAL topics. On deep political topics it is totally controlled - just look at how abysmal its JFK or RFK or MLK assassination or 911 et al. coverage is. It is well known that intel agencies either themselves or through hired proxies and/or PR firms endlessly rewrite such entries - and further they have high-level people working with them [if not for them] on the Wikipedia upper echelons. One should expect nothing - or perhaps disinformation from Wikipedia on controversial/deep political/covert operation/ black operation/'national security' topics.
