Charles Drago Wrote:It is in the best interests of the perpetrators of 9-11 and other, broadly similar conspiracies to provide false leads for and to promote disharmony to the extent of internecine warfare within investigative "communities" and, by extension, to demonize all conspiracy researchers in the minds of the general public.
If I were a 9-11 Facilitator, I would do what's necessary to get one big-name, well-intentioned investigator to state specifically that "alleged" victim John Doe is not listed on the DMF and thus was not killed in the attack -- only to have the distraught, enraged widow Doe appear publicly to chastise the cruel, borderline insane "conspiracist" and all of that ilk who would dare torture victims' families with this sort of wild claim.
An elegantly simple way to do this job? Keep the names off the list.
I might add that, once again, this likely is not an either/or situation.
Precisely.
Being manipulated into getting a "fact" wrong can be fatal to a researcher's work.
As an aside, a two-part investigative film exposing a notorious global industrial cartel was successfully suppressed by corporate lawyers because one statement of fact in a 90-minute film was found, in preliminary libel hearings, on the available evidence, not to be fact but rather an allegation. Unfortunately, the film had stated it was established fact.
The cartel's lawyers then forced a settlement. Money (damages) was used as leverage. However, the cartel's objective was to shut down the broader truth. So, the deal they negotiated insisted that the film was never broadcast again. The cartel refused to allow the offending seconds to be edited out
As Charles articulates, it is easy to manipulate a researcher of integrity into a mis- or overstatement of the evidence.
Thus causing credibility to disappear in a puff of smoke.
