John O'Neill was on this job only for a few days, accounts differ somewhat about the number of days he actually was in his office at the WTC. If, at this time, everything was in place, he would not have noticed anything.
The most relevant literature regarding what happened since September 11, 2001 is George Orwell's "1984".
