In one of Pepper's videos, he talks about Jesse Jackson coming to Chicago with a letter of introduction from Strom Thurmond. I have to wonder about the possibility of Jackson and Rev. Kyles being FBI moles within King's organization. So many of the "civil rights leaders" since MLK's death have just been speech-making self-promoters.
