I'm pleased to see this in the Washing Post.
I, of course, have very high regard for JJ's excellent research in many areas but perhaps more than anything I wonder how many lives he saved over the years, both American and victims of US foreign policy. His going to high schools to counter the recruitment spin and honestly inform students of what signing up really means must surely have saved many lives. We will never really know how many. So much more to do and gone too soon.
