Drew Phipps Wrote:Our pal FBI SA Robert Frazier would have to disbelieve the SBT at this point. His WC testimony said that the SBT was only possible if the bullet didn't deviate from it's course until it struck Connally's wrist. The wound description you cite sounds like a curving course thru the chest to me.
I presume that correcting aim to account for elevation differences would be a fundamental concept taught in, say, Marine boot camp.
That is an interesting question, Drew. Being Canadian, I'm not really familiar with the USMC basic rifle training course. Is shooting at moving targets from six storeys up part of their training? With the terrain around Dallas being fairly flat, I doubt that Oswald would have had an opportunity to practice this kind of shot.
P.S. Curving shot around Connally's chest, actually.
Mr. HILL. The right rear portion of his head was missing. It was lying in the rear seat of the car. His brain was exposed. There was blood and bits of brain all over the entire rear portion of the car. Mrs. Kennedy was completely covered with blood. There was so much blood you could not tell if there had been any other wound or not, except for the one large gaping wound in the right rear portion of the head.
