So now the director has resigned. Something that didn't happen in 63/64 even after they lost their client.
The BBC website recently ran a feature listing the "notable" scandals involving the SS. Funnily enough, being out drinking the night before the assassination of a sitting President was not considered "notable" enough to make their list.
The BBC is indeed just as "under the thumb" these days as the American media. They even had the nerve to run the Peter Jennings ABC mockumentary with Dale Myers, with their US correspondent doing the voice over.
