Marie Tippit and Gary Mack

Tippit's widow Marie recently made an appearance at the Sixth Floor Museum, Joe McBride wanted was going to ask her about Carl Mather and the recent allegation that Mather met Tippit on the morning before his murder, but he was prevented from doing so by Gary Mack, the Sixth Floor traffic cop.....

I think it's only fair to say that this version of events is disputed by Gary Mack. I make no case for the truth of either (or indeed any other) version of this event; just to say that it is disputed.

I thought I'd also add to this thread that I made my comment about Aynesworth before​ I read about him offering a witness in the Garrison case a job if he didn't testify.
