Peter Lemkin Wrote:Here is a video of the execution of Amedy Coulibaly. It is a German website with the actual live French video of the police assault on the deli. There are three videos. The first one repeatedly shows Coulibaly with tied hands containing no weapons shot down and killed when he could easily have been captured. It is as if the order was to make sure that there is no live suspect whose story might have to be explained away. The first video also repeatedly shows the execution in slow motion. Commentary in French accompanies the video.
Here's the clip:
Open to full screen and ask yourself who the cops are shooting at? This is a shop with lots of hostages, but with seemingly indiscriminate automatic gunfire by the cops. And straight ahead, where as best we can see, Coulibaly is not. When he does appear, he's to the right of the window as we watch. While the cops are in full assault mode with flash-bangs and automatic weapons popping off, Coulibaly apparently has his hands restrained - as mentioned above - but more important than that, he has his rifle slung over his back and no hand weapon in sight at any time. What was he thinking? I'll run for the door where the most cops are shooting, leave my weapon on my shoulders and hope they all miss me? It also seems to me he was running away from someone, such was the immediacy of his flight.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
