Albert Doyle Wrote:If Connally had a baseball-sized exit wound in his chest it would be reasonable for the large plug of flesh that blew out to jerk the lapel out when it impacted it.The exit wound on Connally's chest, just below and slightly to his left of his right nipple, was 5 cm. in diameter. There are 2.54 cm. in one inch, so this 5 cm. wound would be about 2 inches in diameter; nowhere near as big as a baseball.

.
The exit hole in Connally's coat was nowhere near his lapel, and while the debris from the wound may push the coat outward, how would it cause the lapel to flip outward independently?
Mr. HILL. The right rear portion of his head was missing. It was lying in the rear seat of the car. His brain was exposed. There was blood and bits of brain all over the entire rear portion of the car. Mrs. Kennedy was completely covered with blood. There was so much blood you could not tell if there had been any other wound or not, except for the one large gaping wound in the right rear portion of the head.
