MH 370: Missing Malaysian Airliner
I suppose that most everybody (except the poor families) might be better off if the plane is never found; at least that means the hijacking wasn't designed to be found and be a casis belli for further military action.

Some entity took control of that plane. There are few players in the World capable of that. I'm not sure it was the CIA, as I don't think they have the capability....but they could have participated in some way. There are other entities with greater capability for this kind of operation...and not all are US entities - although some are. It is still very unclear who was likely involve - and even less so WHY - but I don't expect it will always remain that way. I would note that this anomaly is about as great [if different] that the anomalies of 9-11 and just might have been done by overlapping group[s]. Again, however, there are a few [very few] other national groupings and entities capable of pulling this off, IMO. The last thing I think that happened were either 1] some kind of mechanical problem with the plane; or 2] hijackers - be they in the back of the plane or in the cockpit. The plane was almost certainly taken control of electronically [even with possible help from someone or some on board - although this is NOT necessary] - just as were the planes, I believe, during 9-11. Once control is taken, pilots are no longer able to regain control - and it is quite easy to put them into a coma or make them dead so as not to sabotage the 'mission'. Ditto the passengers. We now live in an extremely sinister World - made even more sinister by all the advanced technology. 9-11, this, one only wonders 'what's next!?!'.............

I'm still trying to work out why? Could be many reasons I suppose but I'm not 100% convinced either way.

It certainly is an interesting perspective anyway, and is an act designed to throw petrol on the still smouldering fire.

My guess is that he knows what's happened but cannot say so for security reasons.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Perhaps he has inside sources, perhaps he reads this website. It's funny how the Prime Minister of Islamic Malaysia has more freedom than in the US where such a statement would never be made. The CNN video in my link says the former Prime Minister also believes the US Government was involved in 9-11. Next thing you know he'll be believing in nutty things like the CIA assassinating JFK. In any case the CIA remote control take-over of Flight 370 is not beyond the realm of possibility.

You know my opinion, which is that it wouldn't require someone connected with a country's intelligence service to hack into anti-hijack software; but it would certainly take someone with a sufficiently powerful motive to kill 230 people, and/or the confidence that they wouldn't be discovered or would be protected, which does imply a certain degree of government collusion. And then your actors have to be sufficiently confident of their ability to misdirect the subsequent search. Also, who has the influence to rack 2 tons of potentially explosive lithium batteries on a commercial flight?

I still favor the "prevent the Iranian defection" scenario, but the folks that have looked into Freescale suggest that Freescale had a motive, namely acquiring (from a 20% to) a 100% interest in a particular patent that was shared between the company and the four Freescale employees that have gone missing on the flight. We'll have to keep a close eye on whether or not that patent turns into a huge profit center for Freescale, but I doubt that Freescale is in a position to misdirect the search efforts, or have a sufficient degree of government protection to risk it.

I would think he still gets some briefing from the intelligence services. He may also have been prepped on their behalf to say what he did, as their way of getting the story out?
