ory, which involves a British royal, a former American president, and two presumptive presidential candidates, is not going to disappear anytime soon.

It looks like Jeb Bush is going to be caught up in this scandal too.

Oh! happy days.

Oh good news. All the better for Elizabeth Warren then. Maybe real hope and change will come after all....?

One thing that I have always thought odd was the loan to Fergie to pay off her debts. I think it was around 15,000 pounds. To me that is no big deal and don't know why Buck Palace admin couldn't have dealt with that. Why did he borrow such a measley amount from such a sleazy character? Why not ask mum for a loan?

VIP protection officers always turn a blind eye to everything they see. It's not so much a blind eye to be fair, but they are covered by the Official Secrets Act and cannot speak out publicly. Who knows what they report (or complain about?) to their superiors?

Prince Andrew's bodyguards were accused yesterday of turning a blind eye during his visits to a paedophile friend's 'house of sin'.
Protection officers accompanied the royal to Jeffrey Epstein's Florida mansion where he allegedly partied with naked young women.
Juan Alessi, who was Epstein's butler for 11 years, said: 'Andrew was with security. He had his two bodyguards from Scotland Yard. I can remember their names.
'The bodyguards were off duty and they slept in one of the guest bedrooms.'
Hundreds of under-age girls are said to have been abused at Epstein's mansion and one woman says she was forced by the shamed financier to have sex with Andrew when she was 17, which is below the age of consent in Florida.

The prince fiercely denies having any sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts, now 30.
But there were calls yesterday for Scotland Yard to investigate whether Andrew's protection officers suspected or witnessed any criminal activity at Epstein's homes.
A royalty protection source said: 'Epstein's Florida mansion appears to have resembled a five-star brothel. And Epstein behaved like a pimp.
'I would have expected protection officers to have advised the duke to leave immediately.
'If they did not, the big question is why? The problem is that protection officers are very well paid some get up to £80,000 a year which is double their basic pay because of overtime and special allowances.

'They can sometimes forget they are working for the police, not the royal household. Challenging a royal about their conduct, or the people they are mixing with, can result in a loss of trust and their removal from a very lucrative job.'
Dai Davies, a former head of the protection unit, said the prince's bodyguards might be able to corroborate his account that he never had sexual relations with his accuser in 2001.
But he added: 'I would have expected Prince Andrew to have been severely warned on the dangers of liaising with Epstein. This is an extraordinary case. I would have expected officers in royalty protection to bring matters to senior officers' attention far earlier.'
Caroline Pidgeon, Lib Dem deputy chairman of the London Assembly police and crime committee, said: 'If royal protection security staff ever suspect that criminal activity is taking place at a venue they are present at, they have an obligation to take action. Turning a blind eye should never be an option.'

Virginia Roberts, now 30, claims she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17, which is below the age of consent in Florida

Jenny Jones, the Green deputy chairman of the same committee, said: 'The Met Commissioner should look into this as a matter of urgency.
'These are under-age sex allegations and I do have a problem with officers that we, as taxpayers, fund going to events like these alleged parties.
'The Commissioner needs to start asking questions about what these officers saw and what Prince Andrew did or didn't get up to.'
A spokesman for the Labour group on the London Assembly said Scotland Yard had 'serious questions to answer'.
He added: 'Those being protected at public expense have a responsibility to consider the situations they are placing those public servants in and a duty to ensure their actions do not bring their protection officers into disrepute. If what you've been told is true there are serious questions to be asked as it would appear to be an inappropriate position to put these protection officers in.'
But Peter Prentice, who headed the royalty protection squad at the time of the Epstein parties, has defended the 'laissez faire' approach, saying it was 'not an offence for a man or woman to be naked in a private house'.
He also suggested he would 'not expect a protection officer to question ages' of young girls because of the difficulties involved.
'Every day of the week, clubs or bars are being fooled and duped,' added the retired chief superintendent.
'Protection officers are there purely to ensure their [the royals'] safety. Their role does not include questions of morality. The only compromise to this is, of course, if there is a question of legality. Then I would expect the protection officer to take advice from a senior officer or supervisor.'

Mr Prentice said no officer approached him with concerns about Andrew's conduct when he led the protection squad from 1998 to 2005.
'If a protection officer comes to a supervisor [about a royal's behaviour] we would advise them and not turn a blind eye,' he added. 'But if you never hear of anything you don't know if a blind eye has been turned [by the protection officer].' Andrew was pictured with Epstein in February 2011 after the billionaire was released from jail after serving time for paedophile offences.
The ensuing scandal forced the prince to cut his ties with the American.
But the controversy was reignited last week by the release of US court papers on the Epstein case.
In the files, Miss Roberts claims Epstein forced her to have sex with Andrew three times in 2001 in London, New York and on the billionaire's Caribbean island.
She and other alleged victims want to overturn a deal that Epstein struck with federal prosecutors that saw him jailed for 18 months in 2008 for under-age sex offences.
Buckingham Palace has repeatedly insisted that for Andrew 'any suggestion of impropriety with under-age minors is categorically untrue'.
Mr Alessi confirmed that Miss Roberts, who is a mother of three, was a visitor to Epstein's Palm Beach mansion. His comments come from unpublished extracts of an interview with the Daily Mail in 2011.

Hundreds of under-age girls are said to have been abused at Epstein's mansion, including Ms Roberts (pictured)

Security sources suggest that Andrew's gallivanting around the world with Epstein, 61, cost taxpayers well over half a million pounds of public money.
The duke allegedly spent several weeks at Epstein's Florida mansion and also visited his sumptuous property in New York and shared holidays with him in Thailand, New Mexico and the Caribbean.
Sources confirmed the total bill in the decade up to 2011 is conservatively estimated to be £500,000.
The figure is made up of business class air fares, hotel bills, salaries and overtime. Epstein has branded all his accusers liars and gold diggers.
Scotland Yard declined to comment when asked whether royalty protection officers had raised concerns about Prince Andrew's conduct with Epstein or about his visits to the paedophile's Palm Beach mansion.
It said: 'We do not discuss matters of security and protection.'
Mr Prentice insisted it was not true that the generous pay protection officers receive would make them reluctant to jeopardise their position by challenging the behaviour of a royal or reporting it to a senior officer.
'That's high risk. When the truth comes out and it always comes out - their days are numbered,' he said.

The Duke of Rutland, apparently…
One wonders what Prince Andrew, son of the Duke of Edinburgh and who is friends with Ghislaine Maxwell, might have to say…

Given the 1986 dateline of the above article, I'm starting to ponder the possible motives for Maxwell's death - given his cash strapped situation at the time. Yes, I'm fairly sure the British or US intel gave the order to toss him overboard, but the question remains why?

For the record, Harvey Proctor MP, on of "gay spanking parties with boys" stood trial for "sex offences of a sad masochistic nature against teenage boys and was forced to resign." (see HERE and HERE).

Some further commentary by The Needle blog on the Maxwell blackmail.

Blackmail: The Maxwells, Harvey Proctor, And The Marquis Of Granby

As I mentioned earlier in the week HERE, The People ran a story in 1986 about an attempt to pressure Robert Maxwell into halting its reportage of the Harvey Proctor scandal.
"A sinister phone caller said that if we continued with our "campaign" against the kinky MP [Harvey Proctor] he would reveal compromising details of an alleged relationship between Mr Maxwell's daughter Ghislaine and the son of a Duke." The People 10/26/1986
The "son of a Duke" that The People named was David Charles Robert Manners, the then Marquis of Granby and now the 11th Duke of Rutland, who is quoted as describing the allegations as "nonsense".
And I believe he is absolutely correct, I think this allegation regarding David Manners is complete nonsense but whose nonsense ?
Now, I was reminded yesterday that Harvey Proctor works for David Manners the Duke of Rutland and currently lives on the Belvoir Castle estate in Leicestershire.
Think about that.
You can either believe that a blackmail attempt was made threatening to expose a relationship between Ghislaine Maxwell and David Manners if Robert Maxwell didn't stop publishing stories regarding Harvey Proctor and that coincidently David Manners now employs Harvey Proctor…
Or you can accept that something else is going on here.
Lets look at at this issue from Robert Maxwell's perspective. The People are at the time running a series of exposés concerning the sexual proclivities of Harvey Proctor and he receives a clumsy blackmail threat that if he doesn't stop then it will be made public that his daughter Ghislaine is having a relationship with "the son of a Duke" and that such an exposé would be extremely embarrassing, perhaps the "the son of a Duke" in question is recently married, who knows.
And let's say, for arguments sake, that the person making this clumsy blackmail threat wouldn't want the friendly relationship between Harvey Proctor and the Marquis of Granby to become public and Robert Maxwell knows this.
In that context this story makes perfect sense. This story could then be viewed as a brutal but clever way of, on the one hand defusing the blackmail threat by appearing to be open about it, while at the same time subtly turning the tables on the person who has made the threat.

The British media are reporting this morning that extracts of Virginia Roberts sex slave diary details her affairs with Prince Andrew have been published online in the US. Typical, but they don't provide a link or identify the website where the publication occurred. However, a bit of digging shows it was a website called radaronline.com - which I know nothing about.

I am posting their webpage on this with the usual caution about reliability? i haven't the time this morning to delete the adverts (repeatedly listed as photos) so beware of those too. If these are genuine Virginia Roberts diary extracts, and if she, herself, is to be believed (?), then the denials of Buckingham Palace are in trouble.

The never-before-seen diary of a teenage "sex slave" spells out the "fearful" moment when she was coldly ordered to allow Britain's Prince Andrew to have sex with her.
In a bombshell world exclusive, RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained the secret journal of the then 17-year-old employed to have sex with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his rich and powerful pals and it's packed with scandalous claims about her illicit trysts, including with Andrew, the fifth in line to the British throne.
In 24 jaw-dropping pages, Virginia Roberts details the whirlwind 2001 sex trip she took with Epstein, and she dishes the dirt on how her master passed her off for a night of sordid sex with the British royal.

PHOTOS: Shocking Scandals Of The Royal Family
Epstein and his right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, who had allegedly fooled Roberts' parents into believing she was training with them to become a professional masseuse, helped their underage plaything get a passport for the sick vacation.
"I was heading over to my first overseas trip to Europe, 1st stop off Paris, France," the excited teen wrote.
Once abroad, Roberts' daily list of chores included "massages, sex, and even dressing [Epstein]."

Radar can also reveal that another important duty called for Roberts to score new sex slaves for her boss, just as she was required to do in the United States. "I would offer [girls] money to come meet my gentlemen friend and tell them I'd show them how to massage," wrote Roberts.
"I never brought back a girl that ever said no, or didn't want to participate in an erotic massage."
[Image: virginia-roberts-prince-andrew-jeffrey-e...=640%2C199]

From Paris, Roberts traveled to Spain, Morocco and, finally, England. That first night in London, she stayed with her "madam," Maxwell, who had reportedly recruited her at age 15 to be the "top girl" in Epstein's twisted harem.

"The next morning, Ghislaine, chirpy, came into my room," Roberts chronicled in her diary.
"She sat down next to me, as I was just starting to uncover the sheets and told me told me excitedly we were going shopping because I needed a new dress I could wear to dance with a prince. Wow, what?' were the first words that popped into my head, not knowing that meant using my body as entertainment for another rich pedophile, or worst, being convinced it was exciting."
[Image: virginia-roberts-prince-andrew-jeffrey-e...=640%2C248]

Roberts, feeling insecure, revealed that Epstein and his sick pals could make her feel special, yet terrible at the same time.

"But the way these men adored me, and many others like me, kind of made us feel like we weren't so awkward after all. That was the nice side to these predators, the other side was learning to accept money to degrade ourselves morally [and] end up another lost girl down a chain of statutory rape victims."
[Image: virginia-roberts-prince-andrew-jeffrey-e...=640%2C234]

But Maxwell didn't seem to care about anything but pleasing Epstein and Prince Andrew. So she accompanied Roberts to buy everything from expensive dresses and embroidered jeans to makeup and perfume.
After Roberts had showered and got ready in her new clothes, "Ghislaine made it very apparent I needed to be very bubbly and energetic for our special guest tonight as she told me he was expecting me and needed to be royally entertained…we were expecting his royal highness, Prince Andrew."
Like clockwork, the guest of honor knocked at the door just after 6 p.m., and Maxwell ushered him inside.

"They spoke kindly of his daughters … [and] the conversation turned to me next, starting with Ghislaine playing the guess my age' game, which was one of her favorite's among her morally impaired friends," sniped Roberts.
"He guessed 17 and Ghislaine chuckled, She'll be too old soon,' and told him I was really only 16."
From there the group headed to dinner, where "the Prince's attention towards me amplified… making eye contact at every given chance and concentrating at my plunging V-neck top," Roberts recounted.

The titillated Prince later took the teen to Club Tramp, where he grabbed them both an "alcoholic cocktail," she wrote in the diary obtained by Radar.
"He was the most incredibly hideous dancer I had ever seen and not to mention how embarrassing it was to have to be the one he was smashing pelvics with, even if he was a prince."
[Image: virginia-roberts-prince-andrew-jeffrey-e...=640%2C301]

"We only stayed at the club for a little over an hour before his highness was dripping from sweat and ready to embark to another quieter setting, where we could get to know each other better, and from the way he was fondling me on the dance floor, I knew that was a man's polite way of saying he wanted to intimately get acquainted."
[Image: virginia-roberts-prince-andrew-jeffrey-e...=640%2C227]

The randy royal and his young prey soon headed to Maxwell's private townhouse to get down to business, she recalled.
"I led him into the upstairs bathroom next to the room I was staying in," revealed Roberts.
"I was doing my best trying to put on a good show for him by slowly undressing and started to pour a bath. The room quickly filled with steam from the hot water as I turned to Andrew and began to kiss his neck and undress him.

"He was caressing every part of my naked body and filling my head with endless compliments about my blossoming figure."

In the bath, the two "continued with back and forth foreplay, touching, kissing, and him even licking my toes. I love your feet,' he whispered, they are so irresistible,'" Roberts recalled the Prince saying.
"That was definitely a 1st for me, but I went with it all, fearful of letting down the Prince and in turn Jeffrey and Ghislaine."
[Image: virginia-roberts-prince-andrew-jeffrey-e...=640%2C198]

Once the foreplay was over, the two had sex, she claimed.
"The entire affair was short-lived, when his climax was achieved he was not the same attentive guy I had know for the last few hours," Roberts detailed. "Instead, [he] quickly got dressed, said his goodbyes and slipped out of my bedroom to the driver still waiting for him outside."

Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth II and a brother of Prince Charles, has labeled accusations that he slept with Roberts claims resurfaced in a federal court filing in early January as "categorically untrue."
"It is emphatically denied that HRH The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. The allegations made are false and without any foundation," a palace spokesman has said.
Maxwell and Epstein have also dismissed the allegations, with the investment banker declaring: "These are stale, rehashed allegations that lawyers are now attempting to repackage and spice up by adding the names of prominent people," said Epstein's attorney, Jack Goldberger.

"The allegations, which are outlandish on their face and discredited by the evidence, were made in a civil case in which Mr. Epstein is not a party."

Virginia Roberts goes public with detailed account of 'sexual contact' with royal

TIM WALKER [Image: plus.png]

US CORRESPONDENT

Wednesday 21 January 2015

The woman who says she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew while underage has outlined the accusations in her own words for the first time, in newly filed US court papers.

Virginia Roberts, referred to in court as Jane Doe #3, claims she was compelled to have sex with the Prince by his friend, the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, in 2001 when she was 17 years old. Mr Epstein, a former hedge fund tycoon, was convicted for sex offences in 2008.
This is the first time Ms Roberts has given her own account of the allegations to the court in Florida. When she met Prince Andrew, she claims, she was aware that he was a British royal, but knew him only as "Andy". In her sworn affidavit, she said Buckingham Palace's forceful denial of her accusations was both "false" and "hurtful".
"I did have sexual contact with him [Prince Andrew] as I have described here under oath," Ms Roberts said. "Given what he knows and has seen, I was hoping that he would simply voluntarily tell the truth about everything. I hope my attorneys can interview Prince Andrew under oath about the contacts and that he will tell the truth."
The Prince, who has strongly denied the claims, is expected to appear before the cameras and address the accusations against him during his annual reception at the World Economic Forum in Davos later.
Ms Roberts' lawyers also included, in the legal bundle submitted to the court today, a letter addressed to Prince Andrew, inviting the 54-year-old to respond to the allegations in person and under oath. The letter, dated 14 January, includes a photograph of the Prince with his arm around Ms Roberts, which she says was taken by Mr Epstein in 2001.

The letter also refers to alleged "subsequent interactions" between Andrew and Ms Roberts in New York later that year. In her affidavit, Ms Roberts reasserted her claim that she was forced to have sexual relations with the Prince on three occasions, one of which was at an orgy.
The letter to Prince Andrew was a "formal request", it said, "to interview you, under oath, regarding interactions that you had with Jane Doe No 3 beginning in approximately early 2001… The interview could be conducted at a time and place of your choosing, and with your co-operation, I believe the interview could be completed in two hours or less."
Ms Roberts' lawyers say the letter was returned to them, apparently having been refused by its recipient. Ms Roberts said in her affidavit that she had asked her legal team to "pursue all reasonable and legitimate means" to bring criminal charges against the "powerful people" with whom she had sex at Mr Epstein's behest.
Buckingham Palace quickly and strenuously denied the renewed allegations. When Ms Roberts' claims first emerged, the Palace described them as "categorically untrue", "false" and "without any foundation", denying the Prince and his accuser had "any form of sexual contact or relationship".
In 2011 Andrew stepped down as UK trade envoy amid controversy over his close relationship with Epstein.

Well, that's a convincing rebuttal isn't it. Might just have well coughed as he addressed the issue, to smother his words. I wonder if he took a leaf out of Tony Blair's dodge book?

Before British business leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Prince Andrew said: "For the record I refer to events that have taken place in the last few weeks. I just wish to reiterate and to reaffirm the statements which have already been made on my behalf by Buckingham Palace.

His voice noticeably shaky, he added: "My focus is on my work and this evening's reception allows me to tell you about just a couple of the initiatives I have founded and am passionate about."
After addressing the allegations in the introduction to his speech an almost unprecedented step for a senior royal the prince made no further mention of them as he went on to talk about his work promoting entrepreneurs.

I liked the bit where he said about wanting to get back to work.

Work?
