If you just heard Erdogan's speech [sic] of the last hour in which he practically spoke of himself as a savior, and called for the US to extradite Gulan to Turkey to face 'the music', you might get the idea that something very deep, dark and secret has been going on........and isn't going to end soon.

So this little song and dance with the "coup" is just to force the US to extradite his political rival? Or maybe he had to purge the military AND get his paws on his opponent.

I watched the Edmonds videos Peter put up. My conclusion: I still don't know who did what to whom.
But I still think that was one lame coup attempt.
