The following exchange between Gary Aguilar and Cyril Wecht and Larry Sturdivan and the Haags is one sided in more than one way. First of all, Agilar and Wecht steamrolled the other side. Second, it was so bad that the other side would not allow us to print their selections. But this is the state of the JFK case today. The WC advocates either use censorship or hide behind the MSM to do their dog and pony shows, knowing that if they allow any informed opposition, they get dismantled.
That is how schizoid our society has become on this matter.

You can access this scintillating reply from either inside Gary's intro or the external links.
Here is the first external link:

BTW, anybody who is still using the NAA, sometimes called bullet lead analysis, today has lost the argument already. It has been proven to be false, or junk science as Gary and Cyril term it.

Sturdivan and the Haags didn't know when they were licked.
They replied to the above and were smacked down even harder this time:

This was pretty much a butt kicking. I only disagree with Gary and Cyril on the point of when JBC was hit. Other than that, it was really neat to see these poseurs shown up in front of a jury of their peers.

"Cyril Wecht" was a character in the "based on real life" movie "Concussion." If you watch the film carefully you can see references to Wecht's JFK research (and the problems it caused him).
"All that is necessary for tyranny to succeed is for good men to do nothing." (unknown)
James Tracy: "There is sometimes an undue amount of paranoia among some conspiracy researchers that can contribute to flawed observations and analysis."
Gary Cornwell (Dept. Chief Counsel HSCA): "A fact merely marks the point at which we have agreed to let investigation cease."
Alan Ford: "Just because you believe it, that doesn't make it so."

Well, that is true. Cyril has taken a lot of heat in his profession for failing to back off his stand on the JFK case.
The funny thing is, he got started on this through a professional society. He was asked to take a look at the WR as a coroner would way back in 1965 and present his findings to a seminar audience. That is how it started.
And here he is fifty years later, still at it.
I thought he and Gary just wiped out the Haags and Sturdivan. I mean when you are still trying to prop up the bullet lead analysis testing today, I mean you must not have much left.
BTW, my theory on this is that it was a McAdams brainchild. He is the one who got it all rolling with his connections to the rightwing groups, who turned him over to the Koch Foundation. And they took it to PBS.
