Wow, this is new...::zzzzz::
Dodd-Frank was the result of Goldman Sachs' governance?
Goldman loses $1 billion on deal because of Volcker rule

The banks were delighted with the first Clinton's work on their behalf and they were definitely looking forward to working with the next Clinton too. I wonder what Clinton's private position was...?
What does that have to do with anything?
Trump ran against Goldman Sachs and then put their top guys in charge.
And there are still people out there claiming he's an anti-establishment character.::rofl::

Well we know Goldman Sach's golden girl was establishment all the way. Things would be no different. Maybe worse.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx
"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

"Things" like the Dodd-Frank regulations of Wall St?
Savvy Dodd-Frank?
Trump and the Goldman Boys want to gut it, along with the Consumer Protection Bureau.
Do you have any idea what I'm talking about?

As long as the Resistance stays strong the Dems will re-take Congress in 2018 and elect Bernie Sanders in 2020.
I'd put my money on Trump resigning long before that point. "Well, I thought this was going to be easy and it's just a bunch of work, and nobody will do what I tell them to do. I tried to MAGA but I'm outta here." He's just that self-centered and immature.
I'll fade that bet, Tracy.
It'll take a couple of more years of investigation by the FBI and Congress until they can force him to resign a la Nixon.
Until then he's making too much money as President to give it up.

Now you're flame-baiting Maggie?
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

No, she responded to something I wrote with a comment indicating a lack of understanding of the Dodd-Frank Act of 2010, which has cost Goldman Sachs billions.
So Trump filling the top economic posts with Goldman Sachs execs is indeed a departure from the past 8 years.
