JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald
#11
Jerry Ellis Wrote:[quote=Jerry Ellis]Same guys as Hunting Hitler. HH was an interesting show. But for the most part they were insisting on evidence that there was Nazi presence or cooperation in South American locations. To me, to say that Adolph Hitler was there, is a big stretch. Scripting and editing is quite an art in this day and age.

The only way Hitler could have survived is if he was a foreign intelligence asset in the first place..or replaced with one, and it isn't likely.

By the way, is this going to be a series, or just a one off?

I think they said it was in 6 parts.

If you read the History Channel blurb on this you can pretty much expect more material like that seen on the 50th Anniversary. Bob Baer is basically like Bugliosi or Aynesworth, so claiming Baer is doing an independent investigation is like saying Allen Dulles is heading an independent commission. The show probably has two motives. The first is to link the now looming demon enemy Russia to Kennedy's assassination for contemporary propaganda purposes. The second is to head off the release of the Kennedy files with more Russia-did-it disinformation:

' NEW YORK, NY April 17, 2017 More than two million declassified government files offer new evidence about Lee Harvey Oswald's activities in the weeks, months and years before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy with the last remaining documents scheduled for release later this year. HISTORY's new six-part nonfiction series "JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald" follows former CIA agent, Bob Baer and former LAPD police lieutenant, Adam Bercovici, on their independent global investigation into Oswald, and the murder of JFK, asking the questions: did he have accomplices, and if so, who helped him assassinate the President? "JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald" premieres Tuesday, April 25 at 10PM ET/PT and concludes on Tuesday, May 30 at 10PM ET/PT, the week of what would have been JFK's 100th birthday.Working alongside elite investigative experts and utilizing state-of-the-art analysis algorithms to examine these top secret files, Baer and his team travel to Moscow, Mexico City, New Orleans, Miami and Dallas to track down every lead and retrace Oswald's steps with the goal of separating conspiracy theory from the truth. While on the ground in Mexico, the team discovers new clues that suggest a deeper connection between Oswald and the Soviet KGB. Declassified documents reveal that Oswald met with the Cold War enemies of the United States, both Russia and Cuba, only eight weeks before JFK's assassination.
Following evidence from these declassified files, Baer's investigation tracks down a former KGB agent and other eyewitnesses who, for the first time on camera, speak about personally meeting with Oswald only weeks before he changed the course of American history. Among the most compelling evidence are police documents that connect Oswald to a suspected "safe house" in Dallas where he could have hidden after the assassination. Will Baer and his team be able to prove their groundbreaking theory and finally establish what drove Lee Harvey Oswald to kill President John F. Kennedy?
"JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald" is produced for HISTORY by Karga Seven Pictures. Sarah Wetherbee, Kelly McPherson, Emre Sahin, Tracy Bacal and Brian Skope are executive producers for Karga Seven Pictures. Jennifer Wagman and Stephen Mintz are executive producers for HISTORY.
A+E Networks holds worldwide distribution rights for "JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald." '

Quote:Will Baer and his team be able to prove their groundbreaking theory and finally establish what drove Lee Harvey Oswald to kill President John F. Kennedy?

Now it went from evidence to a theory?

The answer to your question above is NO!

Watch it yourself.

This program is just a ballsy re-assertion of the original CIA framing of Oswald in order to make him look like a KGB-controlled assassin:

I do take it that the amount of comments from those who did watch it didn't care for it, is it safe to say that Mr. Baer and his team provided nothing that was groundbreaking? It was a toss up between Into The Bad Lands, or that, I'll give you one guess which one I watched, lol...

Arnaldo on Part 2 of what is becoming a really disappointing and outright bad series.
