There is only a late awakening in small corners of America to what is coming, and few wish to talk about it. Most are in denial, don't know, don't care, or are too caught up on politics-as-usual and life-as-usual. I have tried to jump-start discussions in several discussion boards with limited results and have put together a "starter kit" that I have e-mailed to family and posted in several locations.

Did big Jack really try to board the Titanic on its maiden voyage?
I don't know. I doubt it. The song (perhaps you have to have heard it, rather than just reading the lyrics) is a very tongue-in-cheek, satirical, 60's "talking blues" piece for those who smoke rope, so I doubt there is any effort to stick to proven historical facts.
