The mitre is a well known Freemasonic accouterment, symbolizing high ritual office. It was originally drawn from the Phyrgian cap:

Hargrave Jennings, in his book The Rosicrucians: Their Rites and Mysteries (1870), argued for the common ancestry of the Phrygian Cap, which is the classic cap of the god Mithra; the sacrificial cap; and the miter. The Mithraic or Phrygian Cap is the origin of the priestly miter in all faiths. The Phrygian Cap was worn by the priest in sacrifice. When worn by a male, it had its crest, comb, or point set jutting forward; when worn by a female, the same prominent part of the cap is in reverse, or on the nape of the neck, as in the instance of the Amazon's helmet, displayed in antique sculptures, or that of the goddess Athena.
According to Jennings, the peak of caps or hats (the term "cocked hat" is a case in point) all refer to the same idea. This point had a sanctifying meaning afterward attributed to it, when it was called the christa, crista, or crest, which signifies a triumphal top or tuft. The Grenadier Cap and the loose black Hussar Cap derive remotely from the same sacred Mithraic bonnet, or high pyramidal cap.
The Phrygian Cap comes from the highest antiquity. It is displayed on the head of the figure sacrificing in the celebrated sculpture it Mithraic Sacrifice (or the Mythical Sacrifice) in the British Museum, London. This loose cap, with the point protruding, gives the original form from which all helmets or defensive headpieces, whether Greek or not, derive.
When a Phrygian Cap, or Symbolizing Cap, is bloodred, it stands for the cap of liberty, a revolutionary symbol; in another way, it is even a civic or incorporated badge. It marks the needle of the obelisk, the crown or tip of the phallus, whether human or representative. It may have had its origin in the rite of circumcision. The real meaning of the bonnet rouge or cap of liberty is obscure, but it has always been regarded as a most important hieroglyph or figure. It signifies the supernatural simultaneous sacrifice and triumph. It has descended from the time of Abraham, and it is supposed to be an emblem of the strange mythic rite of the circumcision preputii.
The Phrygian Cap stands as the sign of the Enlightened. The heroic figures in most Gnostic gems have caps of this kind. The sacrificer in the sculptured group of the Mithraic Sacrifice, among the marbles in the British Museum, has a Phrygian Cap on his head. He performs the act of striking the bull with a dagger, which is the office of the immolating priest. The bonnet conique is the miter of the Doge of Venice. Cinteotl, a Mexican god of sacrifice, wears such a cap made from the thigh-skin of a sacrificed virgin. This headdress is shaped like a cock's comb. The Scotch Glengarry cap also seems, upon examination, to be "cocked."
Besides the "bonnet rouge," the Pope's miter and other miters or conical head-coverings derive their names from the terms "Mithradic," or "Mithraic," and the origin of the whole class of names is Mittra, or Mithra.

I believe I might be right in saying that President Reagan was a Freemason, although others dispute this apparently. Bush may also be too. He certainly was/is deeply involved in the occult orgainization, the Order of the Skull & Bones.

In a historic Freemasonic death ritual, namely the story of Jack the Ripper, the last victim, Catherine "Kate" Eddowes, was found in Mitre Square in the "City of London" (also known as the "Square Mile" to signify its Freemasonic control):

On Sept. 30, 1888, Gull thought he was killing the last and most important victim, Marie Kelly, but he mistakenly murdered Catherine (Kate) Eddowes (who lived with a man named "Kelly," and used the name Mary Ann Kelly). Her throat was cut "from ear to ear," nose completely cut off, part of right ear cut off, severe cutting of other parts of her face in the shape of triangles, abdomen all exposed, intestines drawn out and placed over her right shoulder, a 2 foot piece removed and placed between her body and left arm in a careful manner. Her left kidney and part of her womb had been cut out and taken away. Nearby, police found a piece of her cut apron which fit exactly with the part still on her body. It was wet with blood, and just above it a message was found in white chalk on black bricks saying: "The Juwes are The men That Will not be Blamed for nothing."

"Wheeler's death is the second time a murder has hit close to home for his current wife. In 1995, Klyce's sister, Emily Klyce Fisher, was brutally slain in her home in one of Memphis' toniest neighborhoods. N.B. Ray Kroc was an ultra-right winger. His wife, however, who I met and who my mother knew quite well, was the opposite. After Kroc's death she used her fortune to work for VERY progressive causes [how my mother came to know her] until McDonald's Corp told her to desist or 'be found dead'....that blunt. She stopped. She is to this day surrounded by McDonald's hired goons in La Jolla, CA - She once gave a LOT of money/support to help the Sandanistas....only ONCE! (then the 'axe' quickly fell). I know nothing of Ms. Kroc's daughter, nor her political proclivities. This all might have some bearing......just my hunch.

A mass die off of birds and fish in Arkansas which prompted a response by U.S. Environmental Services has residents asking questions about the cause could secret government testing be responsible for the carnage?

An area used by the birds to roost was unaffected, leading officials to conclude that the birds could not have died from an illness or have been targeted for poisoning. Lightning, fireworks and high-altitude hail have been forwarded as possible culprits.
"I've been to Iraq and back and not seen nothing like this," Beebe resident Jeff Drennan told local Fox16 News on Sunday.
"You know my kids are out here playing and you don't know, is it safe?" he added. "They're walking around with chemical suits picking them up with gas masks and everything."
In a related story, 100,000 fish were found dead in Northwest Arkansas. "They were found along a 20-mile stretch between the Ozark Dam and Highway 109 Bridge in Franklin County," reports Today's THV 11.

Electromagnetic scalar weapons that can artificially manipulate the environment could be responsible for the mass die offs. We know for a fact that over a decade ago the U.S. Military Industrial Complex was aware of and involved in the testing of such technology.
In 1997, Defense Secretary William Cohen stated, "Others [terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves… So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations…It's real, and that's the reason why we have to intensify our [counter terrorism] efforts."
The fact that illness or poisoning has been ruled out points to some form of secret testing being behind the mass die-offs.
The U.S. government has been repeatedly caught engaging in illegal bio-weapons tests over American skies that have maimed and killed not just animals, but humans. The history of US government biological testing includes deliberately infecting Americans with syphilis, malaria and other bacteriological agents.
From the 1950′s onwards, the U.S. government deliberately engaged in open air tests, spraying major cities like San Francisco and New York with Serratia marcescens and Bacillus glogigii. In 1955, the CIA also released a a bacteria withdrawn from the Army's biological warfare arsenal over Tampa Bay, Fl in order to test its ability to infect human populations with biological agents.
In 1966, the U.S. Army dispensed Bacillus subtilis variant niger throughout the New York City subway system. 1977 Senate hearings on Health and Scientific Research confirmed that 239 populated areas had been contaminated with biological agents between 1949 and 1969, including San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Key West, Panama City, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.
In August 1994, residents in the Oakville, Washington area reported tiny blobs of gelatinous goo raining from the sky, and in 1997 residents in the Everett area of Washington State reported similar a phenomenon.
Given the history of governments across the world performing unwitting experiments on their populations, the number one suspect in such cases should always be government. Just a few months ago is came to light that in the late 1940′s, "American public health doctors deliberately infected nearly 700 Guatemalans prison inmates, mental patients and soldiers with venereal diseases."
Indeed, the EPA's own policy states that government and industry scientists can treat children as human guinea pigs in chemical experiments, which allows pesticides to be tested on mentally handicapped children and orphans.

John Wheeler Seen Alive Less Than 24 Hours Before Body Found in Landfill

DOVER, Del. (CBS/AP) Newark police have confirmed a report that prominent national defense consultant, John P. Wheeler III, was seen alive in downtown Wilmington, Del. as few at 24 hours before his body was found in a Wilmington-area landfill, Dec. 31, but they still aren't sure how he got to Wilmington or how his body ended up in the landfill.
Newark Police Lt. Mark Farrall said the information about Wheeler's whereabouts before he died came from a caller's tip that police have since confirmed.

The tipster said they saw Wheeler around 3:30 p.m. Thursday near the Hotel du Pont, about two blocks from the office of an attorney who was representing him and his wife in a property dispute.
Farrall said police also were reviewing video surveillance tapes from downtown Newark, Del. Wheeler's body was discovered in a truck that had collected all its trash from about 10 commercial disposal bins in Newark, several miles from Wheeler's home in the historic district of New Castle, Del.
Farrall said Newark police have consulted with the FBI about the case but wouldn't say what assistance, if any, federal investigators are providing.
Wheeler, 66, who served three Republican presidents and helped to get the Vietnam Veterans Memorial built, was never reported missing by family or friends prior to the discovery of his body and many friends have come forward to say they even traded emails back and forth with Wheeler in the days leading up to his death.
Ron Roark, who has lived next door to Wheeler in New Castle for seven months, said Monday he had met Wheeler only once and rarely saw him. But for four days around Christmas, he said he and his family heard a loud television in Wheeler's home that was constantly on, but no one appeared to be home, The News Journal of Wilmington reported.

"It was so loud, we could hear it through the walls, and we found that strange," Roark told the paper.
The house in New Castle was dark Monday night and no one answered the door. Yellow police evidence tape was stretched across two wooden chairs in the kitchen, where several wooden floorboards were missing. Though the police have searched the home, it is not considered a crime scene, Farrall said.
Although Wheeler's death has been ruled a homicide, cause of death has not yet been determined as officials are awaiting toxicology results, the News Journal reported.
