Answer me a question first. Pitzer's wife said he was called to Bethesda that afternoon. I believe he also arrived home late that morning exhausted. What was, Pitzer, head of the Bethesda A/V department, who was in charge of filming autopsies, doing that evening? And why was he called there? Drinking and playing cards? I love Jim and remain dedicated to what he does, but I must point-out he would be the first to ask these questions. Also, what was Dennis David's motive in concocting this weird story? And what about the timing of Pitzer's death in relation to his leaving the military and going to a media company? Hoaxers?

I wasn't aware of that. It is even more depressing to think that the pabulum espoused by "Albert Doyle" is a communal effort.

You're welcome, Allan.
Let me be clear: While I and others have presented strong evidence to support the "Doyle" provocation hypothesis -- evidence that has proved convincing to many honorable, accomplished researchers -- the issue remains a controversial one.
Suffice to say, it is impossible to reason with "Doyle." On a recent DPF thread -- Guardian Angels and Fate -- "Doyle" and another poster of dubious origins and intellect engage exclusively in a conversation that puts one in mind of a similar exchange with which most of us are familiar.
I went so far as to post a video of that earlier conversation on post 15 at
http://www.deeppoliticsforum.com/forums/...s-And-Fate
"Doyle" is to be avoided -- but never ignored.

>Pitzer's wife said he was called to Bethesda that afternoon. I believe he also arrived home late that morning exhausted.<
She did nothing of the kind. Pitzer's younger son, Robert, made this claim. He said that his father was called into work during an early-evening dinner. Bill changed back into his uniform, took his camera and left, according to Robert, and returned the next morning.
>What was, Pitzer, head of the Bethesda A/V department, who was in charge of filming autopsies, doing that evening? And why was he called there? Drinking and playing cards?<
Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit -- but better than none at all, I suppose. No one knows what Bill Pitzer did that evening. One possibility, in my opinion, is that he filmed the pre-autopsy.
>Also, what was Dennis David's motive in concocting this weird story?<
For what it's worth, I believe Dennis when he says that his mentor was in possession of a movie film showing the dead president.
>And what about the timing of Pitzer's death in relation to his leaving the military and going to a media company?<
What about it? Pitzer died several months before he was due to retire. The media company part of Dennis's account dates to prior to December 1965, when he (DD) left Bethesda. The media-job scenario was never a topic of conversation in the Pitzer household. Bill Pitzer intended to take a position at Montgomery Community College, after retirement in 1967.
Okay, "Albert." I have responded to your queries. Your turn.

This is what I mean.
There are people in this community who actually do legwork, who make phone calls, who interview people to get back to original sources.
Alan has done that in this case. Many others, like Doyle--or whatever his name is, it may be Rago-- do not. They just parrot whatever they read in books. This is one of the worst aspects of the JFK Case. If I had bought into everything the vaunted research community had written about Garrison, I would have never written my books or published Probe. I decided these people were wrong and had not done any real ground work. So I did the work they did not. Thank God I did.
So when Alan speaks on this issue I know its from personal experience, and I listen to what he says.
And also await an answer to his question.

I stand corrected. However surely you're not seriously entering this minor error as your sum argument against what is being said? OK, so it was Pitzer's son instead of wife - What difference does that make according to the point? Surely you aren't offering that weak point and response as your position? We see that Pitzer was called-in and took photographic recording equipment. Why, Mr Eaglesham, did they call him in?
I can see my question wasn't answered. As head of the Bethesda Audio Visual department who was in charge of filming autopsies, who we now see was recorded as having been called to the most important autopsy ever performed at Bethesda, what exactly was Pitzer doing that evening? As Charles says, take your time. I'll wait for the answer.
I also think it's weird that you believe Dennis David about Pitzer's film but then contradict yourself by doubting that Pitzer filmed the autopsy. After all, if Lone Nutters say the lack of Pitzer being recorded on the attendance sheets shows he wasn't there then from where exactly did he record the film you now admit?
Forgive me for saying this, but you look rather foolish offering what you do against the obvious.

I am setting the record straight, that's all. Sometimes details are important.
>We see that Pitzer was called-in and took photographic recording equipment. Why, Mr Eaglesham, did they call him in?<
(Photographic recording equipment? Oh, you mean a camera! A still camera.) As I indicated before, I believe that it is possible that he filmed the pre-autopsy.
>I can see my question wasn't answered.<
That's rich -- accusing me of not answering questions!
>As head of the Bethesda Audio Visual department who was in charge of filming autopsies...<
Where did you get this information? What evidence do you have that William Pitzer filmed autopsies?
>...who we now see was recorded as having been called to the most important autopsy ever performed at Bethesda, what exactly was Pitzer doing that evening? As Charles says, take your time. I'll wait for the answer.<
I don't need to take my time. My answer won't change with time. I don't know "exactly" what Lt. Pitzer was doing that evening. I believe it is possible that he filmed the pre-autopsy. If so, that would have been completed by 7:45 approximately. He may have spent the rest of the time developing the film in Building 144 and continued waiting there for any further instruction from senior officers.
>I also think it's weird that you believe Dennis David about Pitzer's film but then contradict yourself by doubting that Pitzer filmed the autopsy.<
I suppose that you are talking about the autopsy that began at ~8:00 PM. No one saw Pitzer in the autopsy room, so i don't believe he was in there filming the official autopsy.
>...where exactly did he record the film you now admit?<
The Bethesda autopsy room, between ~6:45 and ~7:45. Of course the film may have been exposed by someone else. Pitzer's job may have been to develop and edit the film.
>Forgive me for saying this, but you look rather foolish offering what you do against the obvious.<
That's fine. I care only about the opinions of people I respect.
Now it's your turn (again) to address my question:
How do you know that William Pitzer had installed remotely controlled video technology in the BNH autopsy room? This aspect is central to your thesis; presumably you are drawing on a reliable source. What is it?

Allan,
The "Albert Doyle" entity spreads through DPF pages like a fungus, disrupting posts and driving wedges between ostensible allies.
Don't waste your time with "him." Treat "Doyle" with ridicule and contempt. Any other sort of engagement plays directly and powerfully in "his" hands and those of "his" directors.
I am a minority of one among DPF owners in my desire to ban "Albert Doyle" and "his" accessories from our site. Until "he" is gone, I shall make it my business to thwart "his" efforts.

This is incredible.
The guy will not answer a simple question.
But I have some questions for Alan:
From your replies to AD, which I very much appreciate, I get the feeling that 1.)Pitzer did not have access to film equipment, and 2.) Was not head of the AV department, and 3.) did not "film" autopsies.
Could you answer those questions since, as I said, a lot of confusion and obfuscation has been built around Pitzer.
Also, just what was his title at the time and did he have a formal function at Bethesda?
Also, how old was his son at the time of the assassination? And is the story about him being called into Bethesda single sourced to the son? That is did the wife ever back this up and did anyone see him at Bethesda that night, or is there a record of him being there that night?

It's my position that persons who are genuinely seeking the truth on this should be a little more curious and probing than seeking defense lawyer-type deflections. Do you understand the problem with assassination researchers acting like Von Pein's and possibly rejecting very important evidence? Do you understand the significance of those persons being negatively influential in the possible exclusion of Pitzer having prime evidence of the Bethesda cover-up? I think Jim is being a little thin-skinned and defensive. My point wasn't to question him or his reputation, it was simply to point-out he might have missed something serious with Pitzer that his approach doesn't uphold.
Why did no-one interrogate Dennis David on these points? I think there's an obvious elephant in the room here. While Alan is answering Jim I would like him to also answer why Bethesda officer Dennis David would decide to destroy his reputation by coming out with this crazy story about Pitzer excitedly pulling him in to his office to show him film frames he was isolating of a shot to the temple? With all due respect I don't think JD adequately answered the point. Why did Bethesda call Pitzer to come in and why did Pitzer take his camera? Frankly Mr D, these are fair questions that you yourself do not hesitate to ask others. I find your unwillingness to answer them very telling. I'm disturbed by a lack of interest in the truth here by people who pride themselves in that.
