John Kelin Wrote:Hi all,

First, thanks for all of the kind words.

I'm glad to know Fair Play is still out there. Deanie Richards archived each issue during its active period, but I haven't heard from her in years.

It's a little jarring to see some of my words come back to haunt me. I seem to recall the comment that I'd gotten JFK out of my system, but don't remember the context. Temporarily burned out is more accurate.

But...personal issues? I wonder how that impression came about. My marriage is stable, my mind relatively so. (That's self-mockery!) Still waiting for the economy to turn around, along with a few million others...

Since it's come up, I invite everyone to check out my jazz pictures.

I built the site, and it's best viewed through Safari or Chrome. Even though I got the HTML to validate, the site is a mess viewed through IE. I can't figure out why.

I've also been keeping a blog. It is deliberately weird. I write whatever I feel like writing; there are a smattering of JFK-themed posts.

Please excuse the self-promotion. Hope it isn't a violation.

Hey John: You can self promote all you want, PLEASE. Sorry I should not have posted that, it was based on something I saw on fb (by you) nuff said.
"Deliberately weird" ...I like that.

your daughter and the dog pound! Maybe your wife could get allergy shots.

Thank you, Jack.

Unfortunately my wife as some super-allergy, apparently. Correcting it isn't as simple as a shot. She's allergic to some protein dogs emit. Her test was a few years ago and she seems to think the results of a new test could be different. I think she's caving in to kid pressure. We'll see.

I appreciate your comments about the littering post, Bernice. Thanks. Trash and littering are turning into a theme of the blog. Five posts on it so far, with a few more percolating in my head.

And I'm delighted to know you found humor in it.

Thanks, Dawn. The "weird" part refers mainly to the blog's name, and the title graphic. I've been writing this blog for a little over a month and enjoying it, so I hope people will be interested enough to re-visit.

The second gen of researchers are a great source of interest to me JK is there any chance of a sequel? The stuff going on around JFK the movie and the upsurge in charlatans and poseurs would make for some fascinating reading. Mind you as would writing about Groden, Ogelsby, Prouty and Marrs and the good stuff they achieved.

I don't know if its correct to call these second generation but seeing as these guys stuff was published in the mid 7o's and 8o's it could be viewed as such. But well considering your work on Fair Play I'm looking forward to anything you write on JFK mate.

Hi Seamus.

The short answer is: no.

The long answer is: nope.

I've been wondering about you. How did you fare in the earthquake?

That's a shame. But yeah the Christchurch Earthquake was an even bigger tragedy. Luckily everyone I knew got through it unscathed. But not so lucky for the poor people who did lose someone. Thank god there was Tsunami. Sheesh! Its also odd-I felt the first Christchurch quake but not the second luckily I'm in the Nth Island. Some poor lady left Christchurch for her job in Japan after and then dealt with the earthquake and Tsunami over there. Some peoples luck simply sucks.

Good to see your back kicking. Any plans for a CTKA article in the future or is that a nooooooppppeeeee as well? Hope not mate.

No, no plans for a CTKA article.

What JFK-related writing I do these days ends up here:
