Israel On Killing Spree In Gaza

But God is an Englishman, surely.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

...who speaks in received English.

The MSM has stopped telling the approx. number of dead - it being too obscene [in their opinion]. I believe it is well over 5-600 now and counting. The world seems powerless or unconcerned to really try to pressure Israel to stop this slaughter of mostly innocents - let alone the longterm occupation. That Israel had a long-term and strong [parts secret] relationship with aparteid South Africa should come as no surprise, as the systems are similar.

the US signed Nuclear Proliferation Treaties with the Soviet Union does that mean the US endorsed Russias Gulags and the slaughter of millions of innocents (by Stalin) in Siberia? I doubt that....

Palestine will eventually come to the negotiating table, if they don't, they've spent to much time listening middle east agendas with other than peace priorities. I suspect Israel will go to the wall and won't back down, any more than the US would under the same circumstances.

If the Palestinians choose to take on those with a bigger stick (not to mention one of their benefactors), so be it. I suspect Israel could give one shit about what the world thinks when it comes to how they defend their borders and citizens. Despite what they say for the MSM (and they're master manipulators of the world media).

For those of us (believers and non-believers alike) on the sidelines, let's ponder: which of the two belligerents has the biggest and most powerful GOD, Israel or Palestine? Sounds like something out of the old testament doesn't it? It appears the Jews got soft during their time away from their homeland, they're soft no longer....and the conflict winner is:

None of us, certainly! (I pick the gods)

The gods create an illusion of victory every time, sigh... while both sides either dig graves or burn the dead... all the while Palestinians oil rich middle-east cousins wring their hands, profess solidarity, then hide their checkbook. By this time Gaza should be a Mega resort, ala Las Vegas style.... oops that's that new place in Dubai, I forgot -- forgive me!

In closing, Hamass is leading the Palestinans right over the cliff, some god they have!

Israeli ground forces enter Gaza in escalation
IBRAHIM BARZAK and JASON KEYSER | January 3, 2009 02:27 PM EST | AP

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Israeli tanks and infantry entered Gaza after nightfall Saturday, launching a ground offensive that the military said would be a "lengthy operation" in a widening war on Gaza's Hamas rulers.

Heavy gun battles were reported as Israeli tanks and infantry soldiers entered Gaza after dark. The forces stayed close to the border area, witnesses said. Heavy artillery fire hit east of Gaza City in areas where Hamas fighters were deployed.

"We have many, many targets," Israeli military spokeswoman Maj. Avital Leibovich told CNN, adding that Hamas has been digging smuggling tunnels and other facilities. "To my estimation, it will be a lengthy operation," she said....

David, much thanks for the requested elucidation.

Just quickly to respond to Magda, God naturally is an Englishman. It's sort of weird anyone would even doubt this.

Tea and cucumber sandwiches are, after all, manna from Heaven.

I have a slightly different take on the current times we face, which is Jung's concept of the Collective Shadow. The general outline gets a bit scary.

So instead I usually stick to tea and cucumber sandwiches... far easier for us all to digest while we slide down the slippery slope towards oblivion don't you know.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

I turned on the TV at about 1:30pm and was shocked to see footage of what appeared to be Israeli's using White Phosphorus in Gaza. I stayed tuned to BBC News 24, at 3pm they had a more in depth report with one minor change... All of the footage previously shown of apparent chemical weapons was now omitted. So I went to the bbc website and found this:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_...810270.stm
Watch the video, at 1:06 you can see one of the pieces of footage that I'd seen earlier showing what I think is white phosphorus. There was a lot more footage shown on the channel earlier. Compare this footage to the US attack on Fallujha or the Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
Also look at the 2nd picture here:

And this video at 1:32:

This is what White Phosphorus looks like so you can compare it to the links I provided above.

WARNING: This footage also shows the horrific effects of this chemical weapon on humans. Charred human remains do not make comfortable viewing, and I don't want to upset anyone. The images at the end of this footage are extremely graphic.

either it's white phosphorus or isn't.... what's your take? A bit of your experience concerning your evaluation would be helpful, too!

Further that, can you imagine Hamass terrorist(s) having access to white phosphorus? Which by-the-way can be delivered by shoulder mounted weapons (RPG's).
