Well, he's got that right. Looks like the chamber is empty though. I don't suppose they want to hear him. Thank goodness for You Tube.

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

When he starts to speak 'that kind of truth' he should avoid cars, planes and being alone.....Glad he has the courage, however. So few of our Congress have a spine, heart, or mind.

A voice in the wilderness.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

He's already survived at least one assassination attempt. He's not naive, but--as you say--he is courageous.

Dennis Kucinich--I believe to his great credit--has had a working relationship with Stephen Zarlenga and his American Monetary Institute in recent years.

I have been strongly recommending Stephen Zarlenga’s book, The Lost Science of Money: The Mythology of Money – the Story of Power, on another forum.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Stephen, his book, or the AMI and the Monetary Reform Conference they put on every year?

Link to the AMI site:

Ron, I haven't read his book or know of his website until today. Could you briefly summate what sort of monetary reform Zarlenga proposes so we all have a clearer understanding what it is he is in favour of?

Thanks,

David

David,

An excellent summary is contained in the following PDF file (123 KB) on the AMI web site:

“The American Monetary Act is ready for the legislative process”

http://www.monetary.org/amacolorpamphlet.pdf

Here is a good review of The Lost Science of Money from the AMI site:

…and here are some recommendations for the book:

I especially liked this one:

"If Zarlenga's book had been out there in the 60's and 70's we would have known what to have done beyond being flower children."

I agree Peter. Dennis is almost the only one in government with the courage or morals to speak the truth. I am amazed he is still alive. But during his run for president he was so very marginalized. He's so obviously a threat to the corrupt powers in both houses.

Meanwhile I heard last night that now Obama is saying he won't close Gitmo after all. Not even in office and he's already going back on his word.
