Mark Lane

Hi all,

Many of you, maybe most, are probably on Tree Frog's mailing list, and so may know already that Mark Lane has a forthcoming book entitled "The Last Word: My Indictment of the CIA in the Murder of JFK."

Here's a link to its Amazon page:

http://www.amazon.com/Last-Word-Indictme...23&sr=1-29

According to this page, the book is due November 1 of this year.

It has an Introduction by Robert K. Tannenbaum. This does not appear to be the autobiography that I thought Lane was working on. Yet I'm sure it will be an interesting read.

I had hoped to find out a little more about this. So far, nada. Not a word about it, that I can see, on the Mark Lane web site.

Lane is a strange once indeed....while I would consider him one of the early critics, subsequent 'things' he was involved with make me question who's side he was really on....things like Jonestown, and a few others....:darthvader: I'll bet he does know a thing or two about the CIA and their ilk....if he'll kiss and tell, we'll have to wait and see.

"Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience! People are obedient in the face of poverty, starvation, stupidity, war, and cruelty. Our problem is that grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem!" - Howard Zinn
"If there is no struggle there is no progress. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and never will" - Frederick Douglass

Jonestown and the fact that he is representing Posner...very odd indeed...

Dawn

You would think a final open indictment of CIA by Lane is a must-read!

I am really interested in this book.

There is going to be some new stuff in it.

Plus, the intro is by Tanenbaum. First time I think he has ever penned one.

Rush.

Two Men.

Plausible Denial.

Now:

The Last Word proves that the CIA, operating through a secret small group, prepared all credentials for Secret Service agents in Dallas for the two days that Kennedy was going to be thereconclusive evidence of the CIA's involvement in the assassination.

Somebody wondered whose side he was on.

Do the angels have a side, or are they of that secret cabal transcending partisanship.

It's on my wishlist passing like mile markers: Arrogance, Battling, another November to remember.

Anybody have word on when that Lane/Bolden video is coming out?

The video obviously gives heavy suggestion that Kellerman and the others stayed still by intent.

Evica suggests they got fooled into a plan where they thought there was a mock attempt being done. What is kind of obvious is presidential protection protocol got very politically fluid and compromised in the Plaza that day. How that works into Oswald being in the lunchroom I don't know. Maybe he was told to be there?

none Albert nor on his book.....i'd buy that KELLERMAN STAYED MUTE, so did others imo...Roberts for instance should have been hung up to dry....many have thought that he was waiting in the tsbd for a phone call, if that did not come, or some such,he was then to proceed to the texas theatre....he did and the rest is history...if i hear any news re lane, will post it...or someone else will.thanks..
