I let RM videotape me like any good FBI agent would. He wanted my story on tape for some reason & I guess I was flattered that he was interested. He showed me some Nix video he had analyzed showing Hill being bumped by the front fender of the followup car as Hill tried to get to JFK. Hill almost went down but recovered. Interesting that as I was leaving RM said JFK visited him in dreams & said he would protect him. Then RM said "he will do the same for you". That always gave me courage because I was so impressed with RM's daring thinking. It therefore is disappointing that he would say the remark about the FBI. I guess he's had plenty of time to check out the video of me for FBI connections. Since he didn't say I was he must not have found anything because of course there is nothing. Now why don't you call Stewart Galanor who lived around the corner from RM & ask him about how J. Fetzer put me up with him & I slept on an air matress on Stuart's floor for 4 about nights while I did research on LIFE MAGs. involvement in the coverup. Stuart happened to mention RM lived around the corner so I called RM and asked if we could meet for coffee. He said sure let's meet at the Caribou downstairs across the st. Then he said no why don't you come up to the apt. which I did. I can understand why he might have been suspicious. Why don't you call J. Fetzer & ask him why he saw fit to pay for my fl. to New York & back. I guess that's just the way us FBI types can con people to pay our way. I think what we have here is a case where you guys think anything that is happening that is worth while research wise you would be privy to since you see yourselves as gatekeepers. No one that isn't in your fraternity can have any legitamacy unless you say so. How arrogant.

I rate. So I dont. I first came across him in about 1998. I think he's abjectly appalling and you two (despite my differences with Greg) are far better and reasoned researchers than he could ever hope to be.Why promote an inferior product like Morningstar in anything?

Robert Morningstar is a very close friend of mine, as well. I think he has contributed substantially to this case. We haven't always seen eye-to-eye on every issue, but there is no doubt as to his bona fides, his intelligence and his sincerity. We still speak somewhat frequently on the phone, although our interests have diverged.

I initially worked very closely with him regarding the Tippit issue when he first began to investigate it. I probably spent 6 months or more on it. Although I respect him and his work, I disagreed with his conclusion on that subject. That is not to say I think he is wrong. Rather, he could be correct because the theory has not been conclusively ruled out, IMO. However, I think that there is insufficient evidence to make his case to any degree of certainty at this point.

Moreover, there is evidence contrary to his conclusion that would need to be answered in order for me to endorse such a theory even though I spent a good deal of time myself attempting to prove it. One piece of important evidence running diametrically opposed to RM's theory is the fact that, contrary to RM's belief, Tippit was NOT a JFK look-alike...not even close (according to the wholly unequivocal accounts of the Dallas Police Officers that I interviewed). He was rather gaunt, lankey, "not filled out" yet, as opposed to JFK who had become much fuller of face (and body) as he matured. The suggestion that Tippit greatly resembled JFK was literally laughed at with great amusement. One of the former DPD personnel who "set me straight" was my close friend, the late, J Harrison. He told me that the idea that Tippit's nick-name was "JFK" due to the resemblance was completely and utterly nonsense, but worth a good guffaw.

Greg: I did not know you knew J. He and I were very close friends from 11/97 until his death in 05. Of course he knew a lot of people that I was unaware of. Mr. Secret agent man I miss him, we talked many times a day.

Yes, J was a very good man, indeed. I remember our first encounter. It was in 2000. I was seated at the bar in the Adolphous Hotel (if memory serves) in Dallas, as I had just spoken at the NID conference the day before on the Intelligence Community Connections Panel with one other presenter, Larry Hancock.

J sat next to me. When the bartender approached and asked J, "What'll you have?" J said, "Whatever he's having." -- gesturing toward my beer. The bartender left and J casually reached into his breast pocket and produced his retired DPD badge--all shiny and stuff--and somewhat dramatically flipped it open and laid it (badge showing fully) on the counter between us.

J said, "a friend of yours told me I should talk to you."

At this point, I actually became concerned as to who this person was and what were his intentions. Undaunted, I removed my badge from my breast pocket and placed it over the top of his (badge side up...all shiny and stuff, too) but remained silent. Then he said, "Fletcher Prouty says hello" as he smiled broadly with a wink and a glint in his eye. And that was the beginning of a very fulfilling friendship.

I miss him, too.

I was probably in the hotel if it was the same night of COPA's keynote speech upstairs. Over the years, we met in the Adolphus Bistro for a light dinner, drinks, etc., before the keynote. Two friends and long-time researchers were close to Jay. I've heard interesting stories about him and what he has shared.

I wonder if Jay's knowledge of the safe house status of 1026, especially the house in the back of the lot, is independent of Tosh Plumlee? If so, we have corroborating witnesses of such.

By the way, thank you, Greg, for your presentation at COPA a few years ago. I wish you would present to our group more often.

This group of interested people have gathered truth speakers all through the half-century since the Coup. All the way back to Maggie Fields and Penn Jones in 1964.

I take a small measure of humor when I recall a thing Fletcher Prouty said about how he became involved. Because he worked with and "for" (under command authority of),
Ed Lansdale researchers were asking him questions because Fletcher Prouty was positioned between the open Spook Houses (CIA/ONI/DIA/USAI etc) and the Pentagon (Joint Cheifs).

The concept of the executive being murdered by the covert assets of the same government is nothing new, and wasn't in 1964, in spite of the MSM bad jacketing the idea all this time.

Damn. I am trying to remember, Frank. I believe it was consistent with Tosh's. First time I ever saw 1026 was with J. You know J and Tosh were old pals going back to the fifties in Dallas. Maybe Tosh will reply to this.
Greg, so glad to hear you will be in Dallas. Last time I was there- at COPA of course- Frank introduced me to what has become my favorite adult beverage: a chocolate martini. Maybe we can all so indulge as we share our outrage at being kept out of Dealey Plaza.
That is going to be beyond surreal. My blood boils just thinking about it.
Can't we put asidce our petty differences on the research and try to find a way to fight THIS?
