I also recall a conflicting report about the type of railcar the so called 3 hobos were apprehended from. One version implied a boxcar that was also loaded with explosives, while another version mentioned a gondola/hopper type railcar. I can't imagine riding in a railcar that could be loaded from the top and unloaded via a bottom hopper/chute, and surely no explosives would be transported that way. The 3 "hobos" appeared to be paraded across Dealy Plaza sometime after the assassination, in custody of 2 somewhat relaxed appearing policemen. Perhaps the delay in the ID of the gentlemen was just an oversight, but it did seem to raise doubt about the truthfulness of the situation. And, all things considered, those IDs should have been a part of the "record" and easily accessed by investigators and/or researchers.
